I have The Sheath also but went with the iCarez 2.5D version as I thought the 3D would lift. You didn't have any lifting issues?

None at all...I was worried but it's a tight fit but works. There is maybe just a 1mm or less gap between the edge of the protector and case...which is awesome...no more dust and gunk between the edge of the protector and rest of the screen...

Had the screen protector on now for about a week. Don't see any dust in the sensor/camera area yet. The only opening on the Icarez is for the speaker...
I was wondering because I have a full screen protector for my iPhone X too (with the black boarder) and the only cut out there is, is the one for the speaker. But mine collects dust quickly in the camera/True Depth Lens.
The white dots are the dust particles (had this one on for about 4 days).
Anyone have this issue?

Which SP is that? It must not have adhesive above the speaker cut out if dust is getting in there. I have an iCarez 2.5D with the black borders and it looks pristine even after a lengthy time on there (a bit over a month I believe).

lol its one that i bought on the day of iPhone X release from a mall, without doing any research about SP for iPhone X. Yeah, it has no adhesive on the black boarder. Would you recommend that I buy the iCarez SP? Is it worth the money? Does it add any sort or tint or colour change to the screen? Bubble/rainbow free?

And are there any full screen protectors (black boarders), that have a cutout for each of the sensors and camera lens?

Highly recommend. Can’t go wrong especially for the price. I usually hate SP because I’m OCD about them not being perfect but the iCarez 2.5D is excellent.

So far it looks as though the iCarez is the one to have for the X. It comes in three different sizes. I have no complaints. I would highly recommend it.

Debating wether or not I am keeping my Invisiglass ultra on the X. Without the protector a black background would just blend in with the notch, but with it on it seems way more reflective, which causes the black levels to drop. Also it seems like light from the screen travels under the screen protector to light up the entire screen, causing a further drop in black levels.

I’ve been using the iCarez 2.5D for a month and was quite happy with it. But the 1mm gap all around it when I put the apple silicone case on trapped a lot of dust. It’s also not true 3D and dust also gets trapped around the edges of the protector.

I found the perfect protector from a Chinese website called Taobao, which is similar to AliExpress, eBay and Amazon.

The protector is slightly bigger than the iCarez, and fits perfectly with all my cases - no gaps whatsoever. The edges are actually 3D and curves down towards the phone, and you can’t feel it when swiping up on the X.

The only cut out is for the speaker and it has black edges all around. It comes with an installer and it was super easy to install.

I also got a back protector and it also fits perfectly.

2 for $10.95 iCarez 2.5D on the left and 1 for $44.95 Bodyguardz Pure 2 Edge on the right.
Both are great protectors but can you guess which one is a better value?

That’s because you are comparing it to the iCarez 2.5D Protector. That protector is good for use with cases precisely because it provides that gap. iCarez also makes a 3D that makes it to the edge but unfortunately that one is not compatible with most cases as it goes all the way to the edge and cases will push up on it. Cases that don’t have much of a raised edge if any at all (minimalist type cases) will work with 3D protectors but most cases won’t. The 2.5D is a good in between to the 3D type and the type that only cover the viewable screen (I hate those because those have a very obvious edge and typically also don’t go over all the sensors at the top of the phone).

Can some send link the 3D Full Coverage one iCarez sells for iPhone X (on Amazon). I am not able to find it.

Most have better results with the 2.5D:
Well, mine arrived today, and when I saw the packaging, I thought I had the same issue. How they both survived is beyond me...
I have The Sheath also but went with the iCarez 2.5D version as I thought the 3D would lift. You didn't have any lifting issues?
iCarez 3D Full Coverage screen protector:

plus the Caudabe Sheath case...

For the iCarez screen protector, is the protector for the black bezels built in with the protector, or can you feel it as another separate layer? Like when you run your finger between the bezel and the screen, can you feel anything, or is it seamless? Please indicate if your are talking about the 2.5D or 3D one!

I’ve had the icarez 2.5 installed for two months now and the black bezels are printed underneath the glass. No dust on the cutout and the coating still feels and looks like new. No scratches either.

Has anyone tried the 3D with an Apple Leather Case? Does it work? There’s quite the gap with the Zagg Screen Friendly, not a big deal, but I’m interested in trying the iCarez.

Just got a new invisiglass ultra placed on my screen since I got scratches within 10 hours of removing my old one. They moved their machine to another table and now all their protectors are slightly to far to the right on my phone. They used to offer a perfect fit, but not anymore :(. Tried three times and all three times I get rainbowing along the left borders and curves. Really sucks
