Follow-up: iCarez 3D is the best protector I’ve used for the X so far. Great coating, easy installation, no bubbles.

REMAX didn’t even send me the right color. I’m returning it for a refund right away.

All these tempered glasses accumulate dust on the side right since iphone 6 due to curve edge? Which one does not?

Tempered glasses for iPhone 5/5s/5c don't accumulate dust on the side

Has anyone tried the 3D with an Apple Leather Case? Does it work? There’s quite the gap with the Zagg Screen Friendly, not a big deal, but I’m interested in trying the iCarez.

Yes they work perfectly with Apple's Case. Also if you're interested, the 3D protector also works with Mujjo Leather Cases and Mous V2

Hello, I just ordered a Caudabe lucid clear case for my X. Now I am wondering which screen protector to choose. I really hate screen protectors, but on this phone I am determined to have it on, because it's just too costly to replace the screen.

So from pages of your oppinions I have chosen iCarez protective glass. Currently, there are 2 versions that are the newest also with plastic tray (must have for me).

So my question is, has anyone already tried using one of these two protective glasses on their phone and also has a Caudabe clear case? How is it? Which version to choose, because I really want to maximize glass to the edges so there will be no empty space between the case. Mostly because of aesthetics, as I really hate screen protectors.
Thank you in advance for your answers.

I think I can help a little...I have the Caudabe Sheath case, which I think has more of a lip, around the screen edge than the lucid clear...from what I remember from looking at reviews. I started with the 2D case friendly version and it was fine...Just didn't like the gap around the edge of the screen...Dust and gunk just love to collect there. So I tried the 3D version and it works great with the Sheath...there is maybe a 1mm gap around the edge of the screen...if that. See pics of my Iphone X, the Sheath and the 3D Icarez screen protector in this forum here:

You just have to take your time installing the 3D version and make sure it's dead center on the phone. Best thing to do...as you can see in my pics, is once you have it installed, hold it up to a light, and check that both right and left edges of the screen protector are even, all the way down the screen...

Guys recommend me a good screen protector Im using the Apple Leather case and recently ordered the Tech21 Evo Mesh

I purchased the Icarez 2.5 D full coverage 2 pack for $10.95 on Amazon. I am pretty impressed with the protector, especially for the price. The bubbles did take a little longer than normal to get out, but haven't returned with 2 days use. The install tray really helped the process.

I have used the Speck Presidio grip and Apple silicone with no issues at all.

do the icarez protectors still have a black boarder that's too thick and cover part of screen?

I’ve been using the iCarez 2.5D for a month and was quite happy with it. But the 1mm gap all around it when I put the apple silicone case on trapped a lot of dust. It’s also not true 3D and dust also gets trapped around the edges of the protector.

I found the perfect protector from a Chinese website called Taobao, which is similar to AliExpress, eBay and Amazon.
https://detail.tmall.com/item.htm?id=557981109339&spm=a1z09.2.0.0.3a4e40b4Exg3j4&_u=r3bvt6l29279

The protector is slightly bigger than the iCarez, and fits perfectly with all my cases - no gaps whatsoever. The edges are actually 3D and curves down towards the phone, and you can’t feel it when swiping up on the X.

The only cut out is for the speaker and it has black edges all around. It comes with an installer and it was super easy to install.

I also got a back protector and it also fits perfectly.

The border on icarez doesn’t cover part of the screen

The rear protector was good for a week or so. There’s no glue around the edges and they lift up very easily. The naked feeling was great but i couldn’t stand the dust trapped around the edges.

I have to say, the arbalest iphone x screen protector is the absolute best you can get. Its practically invisible. While i did get a replacement that was messed up, i just got another set that is perfect. The thing about these compared to icarez is the black border is much better. It is slightly less shade of black (which blends better) and the black border is slightly thinner than the iphone border and is perfectly shaped. The icarez is probably the exact width, therefore resulting in the illusion that the screen protector is on top of the screen and there is a gap between protector and screen. Its almost like a 3d effect. also I noticed the borders on icarez are not perfectly rounded. I don't know if icarez updated their design since I got it late last year though.

Hmm member since 2007. Been waiting 11 years just to push your product. Could this be legit?

Can you provide a link btw?

Thanks for the review. I've purchased 2 sets of the iCarez 2.5D so far and they did their job and protected my screen twice from drops but the border around the edge really bother me a lot. I'm gonna try this one out.

EDIT: Got my arbalest. I like it more than the iCarez so far. No more sunken in look on the edges. Here's a photo comparing the 2.

Arbalest on the left, iCarez on the right.

I’ve had the Arbalest since they came out on Amazon Canada and agree they are the best I have tried so far. I’ve tried many including the icarez and these blow them out of the water IMO.
