I highly doubt there will be an iPad Pro with Face ID in 2018. Not right now with the current component constraints and the fact the iPad Pro was just refreshed just over three months ago. I would say 2019 is when we will see the first iPad possibly with Face ID.
Keeps getting better and better every time I see it. Here is another spotted in SF.

I am really afraid of the first hardware wave, usually they rush them and there could be hardware issues.
Dust under camera, inconsistencies, etc. not saying this is a rule in every case.
Waiting for the second wave will mean spring 2018. At 1300 euro for 64, i really hope they give this more attention, but by the way they push the china people on the production lines as much as they can, what can you expect...
just hope there is no spit inside the X.

It's still old and it was already posted here long ago in some other thread regardless.
If they went any closer to the edge, you would have issues with a lot of false touches being registered just trying to hold the phone. I had an Edge 7 and that used to drive me nuts. You had to hold it very carefully, which was a pain.
A lot of them were already merged into this one, most of them were started by me lol rest weren't merged because the topic was different
That notch really is a nice Apple branding thing otherwise it would look like a normal Android phone. I really want that iPhone "Ex".
This might just my wallet talking but I think I’d rather spend a grand on an iPad Pro 10.5 which has a 120Hz display rather than a first-gen FaceID/iPhone X? I don’t know, I think my iPhone 7 Plus is pretty fine as it is and that 120Hz refresh rate is something I can’t live without now that it is on the iPad. I think I’ll most probably upgrade when iPhone X has a 120Hz display or something. Browsing has never been the same with the iPad Pro!
