Ivyskin not posting any negative reviews

That was a pretty positive review, actually. His only real complaint is that the case "creaks".

Would still like to know if the iPhone will fit into the iPhone 4 dock with the case on.

EDIT ---

Just saw this review on the IvySkin website:

I keep on posting one and two star reviews on the Ivyskin website and none of them show up. It is impossible that every review on their website is 4 and 5 stars. Their lies continue and I feel sorry for all the people that read their website reviews and get suckered into buying their crap case.

I've done the same. Clearly the posts are fake. Social Media 101 - don't post fake reviews - FAIL.

I debated sending my package back but I decided to open it up and give it a try. You know for a clear case it's actually not bad. It didn't come all scuffed up like my Switcheasy Nude and it doesn't have the creaking issues that the Youtube review referenced. It does really show fingerprints on the back pretty bad. Also, if I hold it in the grip of death I still lose a bar (same thing happened with my Luxe Lean) so I wouldn't call it a "reception" case.

That's interesting because at least for me I don't have bars dropping with the case on. But I guess like most people say it probably has more to do with the area you're in and the strength of the signal.

Finally received my ivyscam reception case. What a joke. I will be contacting them and sending this crap back immediately. If it wasn't apparently from every other post in this thread, avoid this company at all costs!

LOL just got my case after all this trouble and I must say, it's the biggest POS plastic I have ever seen/felt. It goes on pretty easily but it feels cheap and it'll scuff your phone. Took it off and put it right back in the packaging, going to return it.

Already got a refund from my CC about a week ago, never doing business with this company again.

Filed a claim with paypal but apparently the case is about to be delivered. Should I just write "return to sender" when I receive it and drop it into the mailbox?

LOL. It does have that "right out of a gumball machine" kind of look to it.

I caved in and bought a couple of clear "ebay special" cases, mostly because they were so darn cheap.
Here's a link to the first type of case I bought:

This one seems to be made of TPU, but unlike so many other TPU cases, it's not frosted, and seems pretty clear. Another plus is it looks like it offers pretty good protection.

Here's a link to the other type of case I bought:

Not the prettiest belle at the ball but there's no doubting that there is front screen protection.

I'll post some pics of the actual products in here when I get them in.

I find it funny how that seller is using the old IvySkin product photos for their item. Hopefully both work for you and there aren't flash issues and other problems.

That ad is a mess! The case looks different in every picture.

Heh, what are you going to get? Nobody knows! Maybe they have a bagful of different clear, plastic cases and they just pull one out at random and send that to buyers. Talk about a surprise with every order

Usually it does update via the number on the Customs form. I wouldn't send packages overseas if it didn't.

I know someone in this thread said it didn't and he was partially right as the aren't required to scan them unless it's a sig confirm pckg, but they usually do anyways. Like 90% of the time I'd say.

stupid ivyskin are no longer responding to emails
they replied to the paypal dispute with their so called tracking info which has not updated since july 22nd. why did i not use the credit card

The same for me. It's been out for deliver for days which in itself is way too suspicious and I'm sure paypal sees it the same way.

I ordered 19th July, still haven't received a dispatch confirmation. I emailed them 2 days ago asking to cancel my order, but they didn't reply. I've just requested a refund via PayPal.

Finally got my case today in the mail and case itself wasn't that bad. Well until I put it on the phone. I like the feel of it better than switcheasy nude case where the edges are not as sharp, but it doesn't fit well and I'm getting the "creaking" noise on the right side of the phone. The creaking noise is driving me crazy. It creaks everytime I grip the phone. You'll want to grip the phone little harder since the case is slippery. I'm back using switcheasy nude case for now until incase case shows up.

The original "tracking" everyone was talking about was DELIVERY CONFIRMATION FIRST CLASS MAIL which is for US DOMESTIC mail only. I still stand by what I said, the "tracking" information for "delivery confirmation" sent originally was not for an international service. This is an entirely different service. It no longer says "delivery confirmation." I never said that with the PROPER INTERNATIONAL SERVICE you couldn't get updated information.

Nyah nyah nyah!

So are all you people that finally got something from IvySCAM that wasn't even the same item as was originally ordered and displayed on their website now happy?

Thanks. For some bizarre reason those images have become the defacto standard for what a clear case should look like (yet no one seems capable of producing it). If it looks anything like the actual product pictures depicted (I'm assuming pictures with the puppy are legit product shots) I might be happy with it.

:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek: Delivery confirmation tracking numbers do not function outside the US. It's only for DOMESTIC MAIL!:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek: Why doesn't anyone across the pond understand that! If they were actually sent to you they would be sent via International First Class Mail and there would be no tracking for it unless they paid about $15 just for shipping it to you.

It probably went 1st Class International Mail. I doubt they sprung for Priority Mail with tracking. It would cost them more than the case itself:

Changing your tune now eh?
