I mean if you try returning or exchanging within 14 days and it's all scratched up.
Hmm... good question. I would guess yes, as long as it's not excessive. How they would determine "excessive" is a whole other question. I believe any phone traded in has to go through QC. I would imagine they'd just replace the scratched parts.

I doubt they will care unless the phone looks like it's been to hell and back.

I agree. More risk would be with third party sellers if you needed to return (even carriers) who will be more hyper sensitive to these and not be so familiar with the disclaimer about the finish.

For a long time because no one will be buying it next year come new iPhone time! I kid. :D I'm all for wear and tear as opposed to babying.

As you should be. I'm all for protecting an investment, don't get me wrong, but let's take cars for example: one hell of an expensive investment and we risk them getting scratched or smashed every time we park them on the side of the street. Life's too short.

There is no phone that doesn't scratch.

Here are some pictures from CNET's Iphone 7 review.

You can see that their model has scratches already....

These threads are starting to feel like people are trying to convince themselves they made the "right decision" by not going with JB . "I'm so happy I got matte!" Okay?...

If you didn't order JB, why do you care so much? Everyone knows theres a chance of scratches at this point. Its shiny, and new and people will flock. Let people be happy with their choice.

With all these complaints about the scratching. I"m hearing that if its super clean - it looks bomb..

i personally ordered the Jet black as well, Nilay Patel from the verge just went live on facebook for like 30 minutes and did a review of the 2 types of black iphone 7's, he seems to be strictly against buying the jet black for whatever reason, according to him its going to get scratched right away he said

I'm just trying to make sure people are fully aware of how prone the JB is to scratches. I prefer matte black regardless.
