I look forward to next years AirPods 2, with a revolutionary cable connecting the headphones so you don't lose them or look like a fool while wearing them.
I'm astounded by how well AirPods have caught on. I have a hard time keeping EarPods in my ears. There's no way I'd buy AirPods, for fear of losing one (or both).

I bought them and used them to watch Netflix on my iPad in bed. But they fall very easily. In the car, I have bluetooth, so my use for these are mainly for YouTube etc. Unfortunately for me they stay in my ear only in upright position like in standing or sitting in a chair.
'Exceptional Sound Quality' ... Really? Its one thing if you don't like AirPods... but comparing to another similar competition product on sound quality... This is trolling on a next level altogether!
Yeah. AirPods. A Fortune 400 company. #whodathunkitWhat happened to the negative hype of everyone that said they suck without trying them! And they will be a flop lol
Me too, FWIW.I have never used a pair of EarPods, they would not stay in my ears, ever. But I have zero issues keepin AirPods in, even when running. It’s incredible.
FIFYSound quality is not something I sacrifice (especially for $169.)
For ME, mobility and convenience are key.
How is the latency on those?View attachment 740131 i use these and they are super comfortable and the quality of sound is exceptional.
First of all, I don‘t see how your post has anything to do with my suggestion, that Apple won‘t sell the new case exclusively on its own.
Secondly, I don‘t see how Apple right now(!) has massive problems to meet the demand. Shipping times have dropped to 1-3 days in a lot of countries. This doesn’t suggest supply problems to me.
The only difference should be a metal coil in the case (haven‘t heard any other rumored changes).
Yes it was a joke/sarcasm. Sorry just one of many people pointing out that Apple have fixed something that didn't need fixing. I don't want to charge my headphones, I just want them to work. If they come up with wireless headphones that don't need charging and sound anywhere near as good as cheap noise cancelling wired headphones, I might give them a try. Until then, just an unnecessary gimmick. Sound quality is not something you sacrifice (especially for $169.)

I’m not surprised. They are much better sounding and versatile than I expected them to be.
The only downside is that they don’t fit underneath a motorcycle helmet.![]()
You could always opt for ear hooks. Only issue with them is that they need to be removed to charge them.I bought them and used them to watch Netflix on my iPad in bed. But they fall very easily. I work from home and take calls all day using my iPhone. I'd really like to ditch the cord and get these. What is the battery life like? Can you get through one day in the office using them?
I haven’t tried this yet. Mainly because I like being able to play/pause/skip using the controls on the wired earbuds since they hang just under my helmet as the wire is routed into my jacket.I’m not surprised. They are much better sounding and versatile than I expected them to be.

Yeah I’m waiting for the wireless charging case as well.
I’m hoping there will be a 2nd generation of AirPods released alongside it, but maybe it’s too soon. Black or space gray would seem likely, too.
Different people prize different features differently. I have to charge my AirPods once every few days, and it’s not that hard to find an hour here and there to plug it in. In exchange, I get an integrated case which fits easily in my pocket, and the AirPods are super comfortable to wear and convenient to pair and keep. How is having to charge your headphones more convenient?
Apple missing a trick here...people want colour options.Well, I guess I shouldn't hold my breath for a black version. If Apple did make them in black, it might even triple the shipment. I'll certainly buy another pair in black.
Nice generic statement with zero fact to back it up.Actually, history is proving that not to be the case.
Those are the same people complaining about the notch on the X and missing headphone jack.
