It makes me wonder why would people buy the iPhone 15 over this rumoured SE4.
(I'm assuming that we'll see a March/April 2024 launch for the SE4)
The 15 will have:
- A new design of course
- incremental better processor (the A14 mostly likely) and better cameras.
- Dynamic island
- Crash detection
- Satellite SOS
I mean these are nice to haves but I'd bet that they're not worth another $200 / $250/ $300 to get the regular 15.
Perhaps the battery life is going be very good? 🤷♂️
I suspect that we'll see the SE4, to keep the costs down:
- Keep the chassis design of the 14
- A13 processor and front and back camera from the 13
- And minus crash detection & satellite SOS from the 14,
But again, I'd be wondering what the regular 15 will have over the SE to justify the cost of it, as if I'm right, the SE4 still sounds a very good 'regular' iPhone.
