As expected, but glad Kuo came and gives us more detailed specs. flat design...expect the same design language as the razer blade laptops
So it seems no 14" in March too
Glad to see Apple adopting the car industry design lang...where every mercedes/bmw etc has around the same design lang for all of their products that is recognisable
So March probably only ipad pros 1 hour max event

Could Apple finally be listening to customer concerns and wants/needs?

- No more butterfly keyboard
- Return of MagSafe
- More ports
- No Touch bar
- Larger (edge-to-edge?) 14" display

Throw in

- M2 chip
- Wi-Fi 6

This is an instant buy for me.

I'm surprised people are excited. I'm upset. Take away features people love, then re-introduce them again later to make everyone excited about the "new" features. What to heck?!

The problem with TouchBar is that it was not universal so couldn’t be important for software functionality.
Not on iMac, mini, Pro, or 1/2 the laptops. So only power laptop users get to use it, but high paying Pro and iMac Pro users don’t?

No Touch Bar? More ports? REAL MagSafe is back?!? No needed dongles?? And it’s not April 1st?!?

Very good (rumored) news!!! Makes me wish I was in the market for one.

Probably will include standard USB ports, HDMI, and a SD Card reader just as the older MacBook Pro's had built in.

Amazing news! Sounds like it'll be more "pro-user-friendly"! But when is third quarter? We don't use that term in my area... Is it April?

Am I the only person to prefer the Touch Bar to the keys? It wasn’t ground breaking and all as they claimed it would be, but it was a step up from fixed keys that was a baggage from the mainframe era.
I love the Touch Bar. Its a shame they will take it away.

The irony is these these new features where on the older MacBooks. By removing the Touch Bar and adding keys it’s a new design .

i guess we had a hint from the return of the startup chime, that Apple was going to return to its traditional design.

The introduction to this new MBP will start off with "Can't innovate anymore, my ass!" ;)

While the Touch Bar has arguably been a failure, I would not have a problem with a smaller Touch Bar.

I have no need for 12 physical function keys that for 95% of the time will never be used, with some of the keys never being used at all.
