Latest Renders of 2019 iPhone XR Show Dual-Lens Cameras in Rear Glass-Integrated Square Bump

How is this Render any different to EverythingApple ones'?

I am much more interested in their pricing and strategy this coming 2019 lineup. Would it be the simple and boring

$1099 iPhone S Max, A13 Tri Camera
$999. iPhone S

$749 iPhone R, A13 Dual Camera

$599 iPhone 8 Plus
$499. iPhone 8

Or do they have something up their sleeves?
 
Just hope it has wide angle feature...not that I will buy the XR but think it should have it

I'm with you, you would think they'd get a SE replacement out, but the longer it goes without one the less likely it seems one is coming. Had one myself. Although there is a rumor that they're going to update the 8 (and perhaps 8 Plus) with new cameras and CPU's.

The ugliness factor of the airbag camera puff on the Xr / Xs / Xs Plus follow ons is enough (short of some mind blowing new capability from them) to make me jump from an Xr down to a 8updated Plus or no update at all.

Which was convincingly proven by google yesterday to be a complete fallacy! It’s only Apples greedy bottom line and that prevents them from using an OLED screen..

Anyway that square does look a bit daft, still shouldn’t complain the XR will be getting dual lens cameras. Let’s hope they don’t ‘bump’ the price up to compensate too eh, I mean this IS Apple...

Nothing actually suggests that. Camera improvements, or cameras addition, never caused a rise in price. What makes the latest iPhones more expensive than previous gens are Face ID, OLED or Liquid LCD, steel and glass instead than aluminium for the X/Xs/Xs Max, certainly not the camera.
 
It's almost as if Apple are deliberately making things ugly now. I guess the iPhone X was a blip after all, and the ugly is back in force.

Remember those leaks of the iPhone 6, when everyone was so sure that those gigantic antenna lines couldn't possibly be the final design....?

These renders are the final design. You can be certain of it.

Is Apple going to keep the previous Xr around, or just keep the iPhone 8 around a few more years? Apple seems bent on pushing people towards the most expensive options. I think Apple needs to have a few lower cost options.

So apple can drop a next generation of phones with no bump and promote it as a feature to drive sales.

If the XR 2019 receives a second camera without a RAM bump to 4GB, it is going to be a similar experience to the X 2018 model, maybe not as slow due to lower display resolution.

We have to look at where Apple is going with RAM capacity and management. Apple will have to support 2GB for at least 4-5 years and the last iPhone to have that was the 8. Given that, I suspect 2022-2023 till 3GB will be more than enough.

XS has 4GB and iPad Pro has 4-6GB, will be interesting how things play out. The 6 only had 1GB RAM while the 6S had 2GB, given the A processors are still good, the 6S would have a life span of 7-8 years before 2GB is not enough on iOS. The XS and XR are similar to the RAM increase of the 6S.

Jony, if you are trying to make the low end iPhone looks uglier, you can do better than that. This just looks very ugly, please work harder to make it super ugly. Almost there. Great work.

I would say it's over. I am a long long term Apple ecosystem guy. I am moving to linux over this ridiculous MacBook Pro situation and using a single Mac mini to maintain integration through some clever android apps running on Linux. I also have zero intention of playing this XR/XS game. Release a great tech phone at the normal price. Until then I'll just use the phone I have.

Apple Vision is to make ugly and non functional products.
Im stuck on a iPhone 8 and a mbr 2013 for some time. Maybe my last apple products. 2021 I want a new notebook
