Very true. Perhaps Tim Cook has leaked all these things on purpose so at the end he can say 'Oh and there's one more thing....we'd like to announce Apple car'!
There is no AppleCar (and looking at the grey pigeon doing the keynote can make you realise why)
Once Less Thing...

What happened to the simple naming and product line that saved Apple? What a mess!

Yah, like the Apple II and the Apple III. that was pretty good.

That Lisa thing messed it all up.

Then the IIe and the Iic. and the IIgx

But Mac was even "better" I suppose?

Mac plus
Mac SE
Mac SE/30

Mac cx

Mac ci

I forget it all almost!

Mac GS460

Lol

Oh the one's that save apple.

iMac. - yah you might be right.

Sure... but do you leave them on the phone forever?

I mean... I get it. You want every photo and video you've ever taken on the phone to remain on the phone.

I just hope you have some sort of backup/redundancy plan though.

One drop in the toilet and your video collection is gone! :p

It's not like I am just taking small clips under a minute ;)

I like having the peace of mind of never having to worry about storage space at all. It's just another annoyance to think about.

I hate spoilers, but this one didn't bother me, but MacRumors should have take a little more care to not spoil the entire keynote today. The story should have been spoilered completely.

I'm flabbergasted. I...almost don't know what to say.

Uh, the name of this site? If you don't want rumors, it seems like waiting for the keynote would be your way to go.

Does anybody really need more than 16GB?
Not sure I could cope with 16GB, apps have really grown in size recently. :)

I have 64GB, but more than half is unused.

I keep my photos under control, Cloud storage and streaming music with Spotify.

iPhone - 1.jpg

This seems hard to say before Apple has a chance to explain why, doesn't it? They're not "awful" just because they're different and new.

It's cluttering the devices. Each device should be distinctly known. 10 S, 10 S Max, iPhone 10 R, iPhone 10, iPhone 8+, iPhone 8, iPhone SE, iPhone 7+, iPhone 7, iPhone 6S+, iPhone 6S?

Notice how perplexing it gets once iPhone X/10 comes along?

64GB for the Xs models is a slap to our face...
That's a totally ignorant attitude. I bet that half the potential customers will be very happy with that. Especially those that don't have a computer and are too tight to pay for more than 5GB iCloud storage.

I've had this iPhone 6S Plus for almost 3 years... and I still have 25GB free out of 64GB

For once I can be satisfied with the base size! :p

And on the other end of the spectrum... there will be people who can finally get 512GB!
With regard to the 64GB option, I agree. I don't like keeping a lot of stuff on my phone in the first place (e.g., rarely-used apps, hella pictures, etc.), which means I offload most everything, and keep only necessary stuff on there. A nice consequence is always having extra storage.

Well my interest in watching today’s keynote has died. The names were the only thing people were speculating. I think everything has pretty much been revealed now down to what they will actually look like from Apple themselves. Still going to watch but it isn’t a must like it was before.

I honestly can't believe they went for XS Max. I can't not think about it as Extra Small Max which makes 0 sense.

True dat.

I remember having 16GB iPhones... and I'd have move my photos onto my computer (and back them up) every so often to clear space on the phone.

But if you've got tons of room on the phone... fill it up!

I was more concerned with you having a good backup of all your 4K60p video. Having them on the phone is great... but having them backed up elsewhere is key. Two is one... one is none... :p

If you ever needed further confirmation that the multimillionaire middle-aged white men running Apple have completely lost the plot, here it is.

What the shame the competition is still so utterly pitiful. Apple has a clear run to gouge the punter whilst the fat execs gorge themselves into a Ballmer like sweat and orgy of opulence.

A sad day for Apple that not even the stockholders on MR will be able cover up. Lap up your stock whilst it lasts, thisnis screaming Nokia circa 2005.

That one jolly geek at Apple who thinks they're getting their work done early "Ill just post this here XML file and get ahead of the old day here. Wow I do love working at Apple." Narrator "They were about to learn a very important lesson".
