All I care about is them refunding me or replacing a defective product. I don’t really care where a particular case comes from, where it’s made, and what materials is has…….because most of this can be found in the description of the product page.

It is too much info on a product that most folks prefer to have a little branding as possible. You’re not buying a car and need a VIN number display on the hood!
They could have easily placed the string of numbers on the inside of the case and achieve the same result of showing the company's ethics, transparency, bla bla bla...

What’s worse those no’s on the grams case are white 😳 Dumbest idea I’ve seen on a case, who’s going to remember what they mean anyway lol.
I guess you will as you will be asked what are those no’s 10,000 times haha

Marketing gimmick in the worst way.

Has anyone here tried the Native Union Clic case? If so, I'd love to see how the Ocre color looks with some patina time. While I'm not completely a fan of the Ocre Clic Heritage case as photographed, I think (hope) it could darken considerably with time:
https://www.nativeunion.com/products/clic-heritage-iphone-12-pro-max?variant=34408254439563

Also thinking about the indigo version of their Clic Classic:

I wish the Heritage came in Indigo, and while I'm not wild about the gold foil branding or how light/yellow/orangeish the Ocre color looks, I'm thinking it may darken considerably with time and end up looking nice. I'm also thinking the gold foil may wear off, or possibly be sanded off with very fine grit sandpaper.

I have had a saddle brown and indigo apple leather case since the iPhone 5s, and always loved the patina both developed. Sadly both the Saddle Brown and Baltic Blue cases this year are very disappointing (seems to be the consensus here, I know I'm not alone). I tried using isopropyl alcohol to remove the gross coating on the Saddle Brown, and while a ton of it came off, the leather underneath was just thin and low quality. Now it just looks mottled and strange. I like how minimalist the branding is on the Nomad Union Clic Classic, and if it's a nice leather, I like how the blue is closer to Apple's darker blue cases from past years, which turns almost black with patina, but the blue shows in brighter conditions.

I’m back into my black leather after just over 24 hours in the Nomad. Apple’s just feels better. On the pinky, buttons and overall fit and finish.
Looking at the nomad cases in the nomad thread, the lip of the case around the frame looks a lot chunkier and wider than apples cases.🤔

It definitely is. It completely covers the steel frame while the Apple one showcases it. Every single complaint regarding the buttons are absolutely justified, too.

I returned my black case for a replacement from Amazon, I was really excited to try it on and see if it fit better than my last one. Opened it up and it’s not even an Apple case, it’s some off brand silicone case that was put in an Apple box.

The waiting continues.

3 week Grams28 case with daily use, numbers start to fade by simply rubbing your fingers against them if they bother you that much. Edges and corners are slowly starting to turn a deeper blue
The numbers fading away is great to know. But, I pity the folks who would have paid to get their name above those numbers. Those will go too.. ;-)

That’s disappointing on Amazon’s part. It seems like many in this thread are on a hunt for the perfect leather case. Wish you the best of luck in finding yours!

I too, am returning the Nomad case due to the pinky discomfort. It is also hard going to a bulkier case after using the Apple one for 4 months now.

The Nomad is probably better with the 12 and mini as they are lighter, i agree with all the complaints above even though i like mine, you do notice a difference in comfort going between the 2, will mainly use the Black Nomad when need something more rugged, Apple black leather for work and magsafe holder in my car.
Glad i cancelled my brown magsafe, one nomad is enough.
I questioned them on insta about the buttons.

I just checked mine and sure enough. That along with the ragged-ass cutouts on the bottom are making it tough to like this case.

Strange about them not offering a full refund as I initially had ordered their case for my 12 Mini and sent it right back after finding out the MagSafe version was just around the corner. They gave me a full refund and allowed me to use the 50% off code I had received for buying that case to purchase my 12 Pro MagSafe case. I'm glad I didn't pay full price.
Did you sent back your case to them..?

The personalization is engrave to the leather not just the color print. For those don't like the number printed? There are lots other good case out there.

I spent a few minutes yesterday with a alcohol wipe and removed most of the color from The sides off my baltic blue case. It looked pretty bad and at least now it is more uniform. It took very little effort, the first pass with the wipe took most of the remaining color on each of the sides. Maybe i’ll do the entire case soon after I get the sides pitch black.

the back of the case has not been altered with yet, just slight black spots where I grip the phone. The sides are now VERY grip worthy

May as well just get the black looks better with the black 12 anyway lol.
These coloured cases are just not working this year.

Call me crazy but I sold my 11 and bought an 8. Going back to simpler times. I actually really like the format. I used to have the +8 and I loved it. I do enjoy having a smaller phone
