Call me crazy but I sold my 11 and bought an 8. Going back to simpler times. I actually really like the format. I used to have the +8 and I loved it. I do enjoy having a smaller phone

My wife still rocking her 8 and is happy with it. Other than battery life compared to the larger devices it holds up pretty darn well.

Black leather case #4 arrives today. I know some of them fit but I’m yet to get one that doesn’t pop off the corner. My SB did the same.

It definitely is. It completely covers the steel frame while the Apple one showcases it. Every single complaint regarding the buttons are absolutely justified, too.
So the buttons were the deal breaker and the reason for the return? Any other issues besides stiff buttons?

I went through 4 black cases myself until I finally gave up. maybe there are some that actually fit snug but I’d say it’s 1 in 1000

This will be my last attempt. i suppose I’ll have to do a non-leather case if this doesn’t work out.

I bought one with my 12 Pro and it’s the best case I’ve used in a very long time.

Actually the sharp cutouts on the bottom digging into my finger was the main offender. Other than that the frame being exposed on one border was a bother. The buttons were really the least of the bunch.
Including the exposure to the stainless steel bottom?
Mine was the top edge.

Got it. Disappointing. This case had great potential and I hear the magnet is very strong. Durable as well. Exposure to the frame doesn’t work for me either.

Did that before going with the 12 and the mini. I sold my 11 pro and went with the se2. I had the saddle brown case on it that now a co-worker is currently using. It’s aged so well. I’m thinking of going back to the se2 and selling both my 12 and the 12 mini.

Do it! Haha. I love the nostalgia of the home button. The hard part is finding a genuine saddle brown case. I looked for weeks and I’m not entirely sure this one is even legit. If it’s fake it’s by far the best fake I’ve ever seen

Wow, why? after having a 12 with the better modem and 5G is great here, don't think i could go back. I could get away with a mini if wanted smaller.

Anyone have a good recommendation for keeping a leather case cleaned/conditioned? And I don’t mean in the way of trying to force a patina on it on the front-end.
