Honestly the more and more I see Midnight, I feel like it just makes the most sense to choose. Classy neutral colour (black) that has a little bit of another colour (indigo) mixed in to keep it from getting boring over time

Definitely noticing some weird wear on one of the corners of my dark cherry case. Definitely not peeling, but some of the cherry color appears to be rubbing off, which is exposing a lighter color underneath. Spot has been resistant to darkening through conditioner/my hand. I’ll post pics when I get a shot in good lighting.

That white side logo with prison style numbers on the back is just about as dumb as you can get. That is a deal killer for me! Whoever thought of that should be fired from Grams28.

I got my best buy case today and will be returning it. Great leather but it's loose, same issue I had with the several apple cases I tried.

However I also got my Journey case today and will definitely be keeping it! Very tight fit, excellent leather. Many won't like the open bottom but I prefer it. Only issue is it took weeks to get delivered as its coming from Australia. I highly recommend it though. Mine is the 12 version but the new 13 version has a closed bottom. I like this so much I may just order the other version as well.

What case is that? The platinum has a full chin and the lettering on the back. It’s also satisfyingly tight. Who dosen’t love it tight right?

Look so nice! I am considering it for my coming 13 pro, however I have read some comments that its MagSafe is weak. Is it true?

Personally I just use MagSafe wallet. The magnet is slightly weaker than apple case but barely noticeable, however the magnet on my grams28 is stronger than my decoded cases

The magnet on the grams28 seems to be weaker than the Apple case because my wallet can slide around on the back easier. But, I'm not sure if that's really the magnet, or the difference is the friction between the wallet and the case. The Apple case and wallet are grippy to each other when I put the wallet against the case in the upper corner where there are no magnets. In that same corner, its much slipperier on the grams28 case. I wonder how that will change as the gram28 ages.

I want to get one of the new magsafe popsockets, which have a plastic base, and perhaps that would show better the relative strength of the magnets.

Having said all that, I still feel my wallet is pretty secure on the grams28.

Yes I agree that the friction in between may affect the magnetic strength. Anyway it’s good to know it is still pretty secure!

Loving my 13 PM leather cases. Applied a few coats of Neatsfoot oil and they are so supple with a great feel and grip. Way better than when new. That third photo is an unrelated bonus. Lol

I've been able to so far! I was really tempted by the Nomad but hearing the bottom of the case is unchanged from last year completely eliminates that for me.

The (symmetrical, ugh) cutouts on the bottom are sharp and dig into the cuticle of my supporting finger. Super uncomfortable.

Maybe you have faulty one. My buttons are same as last year. 13 mini. Very clicky and tactile.

I went through 3 cases to find one. Some cases it was just the volume up/down buttons which were mushy (no click) and the others it was the power button. Nonetheless, it’s just case to case production variances but good ones do exist.

Same. My buttons are quite tactile but the volume down on mine is definitely mushier than the others.
