Is it really possible to get an apple leather case that doesn’t have loose corners this year? I just started noticing my midnight leather case corners popping off more again.
My dark Cherry leather case doesn’t pop off anywhere.
How are you putting it into your pocket? It needs to be screen against your leg.
The short answer is no, they aren’t really built for protection anymore
Not necessary true. Apple cases are VERY protective, probably more so than MOST 3rd party cases, of the back and sides of the iPhone. The front is lesser importance due to Ceramic Shield…thus “popping off corners” is not likely to do much in terms of failing to protect front Ceramic Shield glass.

I went back to look at my 12 PM MagSafe case and thought I’d post this here. Roughly 10 months of wear. Pretty consistent with others out there, with a lot of peeling on the corners and the back where my fingers land. Definitely looks worse than previous models of Apple leather cases. I use the MagSafe charger every night and sometimes during the day at the office. Remember last year when these case launched and everyone was worried about the MagSafe ring fade? I’m beginning to think Apple created that fake problem as a distraction from the real issues with these cases 😳😂.

Hi guys! Anyone went for the Wisteria case? I'd really like to pick it up for my Sierra Blue 13 Pro, which should arrive in a couple of weeks, but I'm afraid that the light leather color will fade or ruin very soon.

Another YouTubers comparison of the old black vs new Midnight, you can see how it’s a really subtle change that doesn’t stray too far from black, I love it
I am receiving mine tomorrow. Iirc last year the case was very similar in thickness to the Apple leather case. Its supposed to patina better as well. I think the magnets are not quite as strong though.
That was my experience with Decoded as well. I ended up moving back to Apple leather after a few weeks and there was zero change in the look of the case. The magnets were definitely much weaker.
I must admit that although Apple leather case can get black (“patina”) and you get little leather nicks, they do hold up extremely well and protect the phone much better than most other 3rd party cases.
That's true, but I feel like the leather is better quality so I'm sticking with decoded since I don't use Magsafe. Glad they had a Navy color this year too!
Later today I will upload a picture of a brand new decoded next to the one I've used off and on for a few months. They both fit tighter than any apple case I've tried, MUCH better leather and the buttons are comparable. The magnets are a little weaker. It is my 2nd favorite leather case and I've tried nearly all of them.
Just got it. Here are some pics on my graphite 13 pro. The texture and feel of the leather easily beats the Midnight apple leather case I tried. Smells really good too!
I like that they made the camera bump out of metal. And my phone sits pretty deep in the case so I doubt it will pop out of the corners any time soon. Buttons rival apples. Very impressed.
Wished that the camera cutout was more precise…does the camera “guard” raise significantly above the top of the lenses?
I wonder if the metal ring interferes with the radio/connectivity strength?
I think that's just the angle. When looking at it from top down, the cut out for the camera looks spot on. The guard is raised enough to protect the cameras, but doesn't wobble a whole lot when on a desk. I've seen zero problems with my signal inside my house but I'll keep an eye on it.
Very nice looking. I'm debating on ordering a Decoded leather for my 13 mini or keeping the Mujjo I just got. Never had either case brand so just would like one that will patina nicely. The Mujjo tan looks like it might have more room to patina vs the brown color for the Decoded appears much darker already.

I do not own any magsafe accessories but its my understanding the magnets are decent, but not as strong as the apple leather case.
I am sad to say I just returned my platinum case today. My 13PM fell out of my back pocket about less than 1 foot when I was squatting and the corner of the case popped out and cracked the corner of my screen protector. I went back to apple leather in hoping it’s a better protection.
I have it but would of preferred black, was free so can't complain too much lol.
