Definitely blue. It's a bit darker in person but yeah there's a hint of green in it that's more noticeable depending on how the light hits it.Does that photo accurately show the color of the case? Looks green, not blue.

I mean are you gonna need a new phone?Dark Cherry after 3 months. No forced patina. It’ll be difficult parting with this color when next years phone releases ?
I upgrade yearly. Hoping we get dark red leather next year too??I mean are you gonna need a new phone?
What do you mean? I got the golden brown… so there is just a color coating above the leather?I’d definitely recommend removing the orange coating with alcohol wipes. Will do away with the wearing paint look. I just did mine yesterday and looks a lot better then beforehand
Yes, Apple puts a colorized coating (some sort of paint) over the leather. I think the intent was to make the color stay fresh longer but what happens is that coating wears off the edges faster than the rest of the phone. The edges will then begin to patina and the rest of the case still looks new... which is pretty ugly. If you remove the coating then all the leather is exposed to the elements and the the patina can happen to the whole case and you get a much more natural aging process. What do you mean? Having a hard time deciding on andar camel tan or apple midnight color.
Yeah, I suspect the Andar leather is higher quality. I've heard their Magsafe isn't as strong thought. And lets be honest the Apple cases do have the best button feel.... so I guess its just a question of what matters most to you. For me its the fit, feel and magsafe quality that led me back to Apple after trying a few others.... even if Apples leather isn't as good these days.IMO, ifyou want patina and that leather smell get the Andar
If you don’t want patina then Apple Midnight is a good option.
I have the Andar and the Apple leather case. The button feel is the same between the two. The buttons on the Andar are metal and very clicky.Yeah, I suspect the Andar leather is higher quality. Nice, I had heard otherwise so thanks for setting things straight. I"ve looked at the Andars many times but never ordered because of what I had heard. I might have to go and reconsider things now. I wish they had the closed bottom though, but I can learn to live with that.I have the Andar and the Apple leather case. The button feel is the same between the two. On MagSafe I can’t tell which is stronger. I haven’t had any issues using MagSafe on the Andar.
Fit and finish on Andar is top notch. The main difference is the open bottom on the Andar. Just to me personally I enjoy the open bottom. It makes swiping up and down a little easier. I use reachability a lot and it helps to have the open bottom for that feature.
I don’t believe you will be disappointed. I ordered the Apple Golden Brown when I first got my phone assuming the leather was the same as what I was used to on my iPhone 11 and XS. I ended up being sorely disappointed. Not only was the color more of an orange but the leather just seemed artificial with that coating they put on the outside.Nice, I had heard otherwise so thanks for setting things straight. It looks like it has the same saddle brown edge wear as the iPhone 12 Leather casesIn case you’re curious, this is after two months of use. Brand new vs today.
I would say it is more similar to the wear I experienced with my Apple Saddle Brown cases that I’ve had with my iPhone 7, XS, and 11 Pro’s.It looks like it has the same saddle brown edge wear as the iPhone 12 Leather cases
What is that atrocity?“Say… are you about a size 13 mini?”
