The BS cases have to be thicker to compensate for the camera button cut-out. They're a little deeper as well, but the quality is still there IMO.

I'm wondering if the RL open bottom will have a bit thinner bezels, what do you guys think?

Are the LuckyCoin cases available yet? Where did people see LC saying they would be available in however many days?

I'm thinking of getting a black leather case with an open bottom, as it seems to match my preferences and needs. I've been enjoying the Bullstrap, which was my first choice, but I'm also interested in trying the engraving from Ryan London. One downside of the Bullstrap was that it felt a bit dry out of the box. Is the vegetable-tanned leather of Ryan London's open bottom cases less dry? Or is that just how premium leather cases typically are?

Speaking for just the 15 Pro series, but the open-bottom RL case feels the best out of any other cases I've tried.

Yeah, you can’t compare a worn in case to a new one in feel. They always start out a bit rougher and dry and then soften as they wear. Andar shows a huge change in a fairly short period of time. I used both Andar and Bullstrap on my 15 Pro and my 16 PM Andar felt very stiff and slick out of the box, but I remembered that from last year too. After a week or so of use it already feels great.

Yeah I'm not liking the bullstrap this year. Very dry and the thickness is a bit of a killer for me. Might order from RL their open bottom.

Anyone know what the processing time is for Ryan London is? Placed my order a couple days ago but haven’t heard any updates.

Usually pretty quick if they have it in stock… I know they're not shipping. They're open bottom cases until beginning of November I believe?

If I’m not mistaken, both RL and BS are produced by the same manufacturer in China, though they utilize different tanning processes. As a result, the thickness will remain the same with both cases due to the CC button.

I’m using a Bullstrap on my 15PM and it’s had a good six months to develop its patina. It’s still got a striped vibrant green hue in natural light and looks black in low light. I actually appreciate the added thickness as it has a nice springy feeling when squeezing the sides and the leather actually heals really well when it gets gouged vs what you see with the thinner cases where you just get exposed plastic.

The buttons on BS (open bottom; haven’t tried their new variant) are second to none IMO but Ryan London is a very close second.

In previous years, my RL have been close to bullstraps but thickness and feel have been different. Again close, but not the same.

Right now it's mainly the feel. I have a brand new bullstrap from last year sitting here and it's noticeably better feeling.

Btw if anyone wants a brand new bullstrap for the 15 pro in black, let me know. I'll sell it cheap.

I totally agree with this! I actually don’t mine the thickness at all.

I have my 14 Pro Max BS, and right out of the box, it feels identical to this year’s model. I only put the 14 Pro Max case on twice and didn’t use it again, so it maintains that fresh, new feel.

Would you send it to Canada? I would love it.

Thanks. I don’t think I saw the small print that they’re shipping out in batches. Guess I gotta wait till Mid-October.

Is this the ocean color? If so can you post a few pics. I’m debating this one or the black
