with a little bit of shapeshifter :)

Do you like the iTunes 7 scrollbars and theme through the entire system?
Me, I do (I have an iTunes 7 theme installed) and I think the iTunes 7 scrollbars and theme look awsome and might appear in Leopard.

Compiled Findings!

I've compiled our findings here at MacRumors into a zipped html file that you can download. (I tried to compile them into one post, but it would not let me). Many thanks to the many members who have contributed so far to this thread.

I will also post this on the first thread. Keep up the good work! It looks awesome. Let me know what you think of the attachment and what's next!

The pictures at the end are not there. Instead of the pictures there are blue boxes with question marks. I like your guide a lot, very helpful to those people who want to make Tiger look like Leopard. :)

Try it now and please let me know. Thanks for the compliment and for the hard work of our members who made this happen. I think we'll still see a few more surprises!

I just wish there were more freeware apps that made Tiger look like Leopard. :) I am sure somebody will still find something new.

I agree.. freeware or low cost apps to change the look are GOOD. And now that Leo's been shown, its a matter of time before more themes and apps, come out to change Tiger's look. While some people have been complaining about Tiger's look, Apple clearly gave the message that while Tiger is still ahead aesthetically, that look is on its way out.

i think all we need now are a set of the default folder icons (apps/docs etc) this theme (crystalclear) is nice but doesnt effect safari or carbon

I'm surprised no-one has mentioned MacGizmo yet, which 'mimics' Quick Look. I'm somehow feel this is where Apple got the idea for Quick Look from actually! Comes with a great dark theme as well!

Nice archive moonislune, and I've also seen one or 2 people post a link to this thread in the TUAW Desktops Flickr pool :D

So what we've done so far is the wallpaper, menu bar, stacks and dock. What we need now is Quick Look, Spaces (well that's just VirtueDesktops) and perhaps something that's a wee bit like Time Machine?

I was one of them. =)) :)

Leopard icons

Hello! I was wondering what you guys are doing for your Leopard icons? Where did you get them and are you using CandyBar to apply them?

Also, does anybody know where some nice iPhone icons are? Specifically, the rounded cornered squares for each application... Thanks!!

Nice. :) I don't think I'll use it though, as I don't like how A-Dock doesn't have a magnification feature and when I receive messages in Adium, the dock icon in A-Dock doesn't bounce. :(

Hehe, actually, Time Machine is just the "MenuShade" app, and Spaces is the "You Control Desktop" app.

I just changed the name and the icons so that my Desktop would look more similar to the real Leopard-one. :p

Where'd you get the Time Machine icon? I just did a quick google and didn't come up with anything notable.
