I'm not sure if it really means anything, but I just noticed that on the ATT site when you go to pick your phone, it used to show White iPhone 4 - 32GB grayed out and it said not available.

Now today it's in blue and it says Coming Soon. And you can now click the box and see the white phone and a description, looks like att is getting their site ready.

Are you sure this change just happened today?

Amazing. Let's hope it means something. This means I'll be checking these darn sites again at 4 AM tonight.

MC536LL/A is for the 16GB white. Now we just need to track down the 32GB white.

What do these Model No. do for us if you don't mind me asking? Is there a way to track down if Apple is putting them on the site?

Honestly, they don't do much. Apple has it's own SKU system, the Apple Model Number, that AT&T, Best Buy, and other third-party retailers don't use. About the only thing you could do with it is try plugging it into Apple Store URL's to see if it's in the system (it's not).

Your best bet is writing a script to check if it's on sale like a couple other people have done. If you ask nicely, somebody might help you out.

What does that mean... writing a script?

I mean I do not see there being huge lines at the Apple Store on launch day. Most people who wanted the white iPhone 4 originally purchased the black color and are both happy and content with their purchases (for the most part). I'll be very surprised if I have to line up hours in advance to get a white iPhone 4. Though, I plan on heading to the mall two hours ahead of time, just in case there is no pre order option ahead of time.

I would do the same, but how do you know which day?

It could be any day at the end of next week? Or are you gonna go when it shows up on the site (assuming the stores have them)?

4am... try every hour all night.

Oh and its no longer by choice. My body clock wakes me up every hour the last 2 nights in a row. Roll over, reload applestore page, see no white iphone order/pre-order, put phone down, go back to sleep.

I'm a White iPhone addict!
