Dunno if anyone's seen this from the MacBook forums. Don't know if it's legit or not, but if it is then Sept 23rd is sort of a long time to wait (assuming they release both the MBP and MB at same time)

Ok, I want the new MBP's to come out now please.
I was going to upgrade my PB G4 at the begining of the back to school sale, but then I actually took my PB to the apple store and looked at it side by side with a MBP, and I was really bothered by the slight decrease in pixels/inch. I know the difference is slight, but it is a slight that I notice. So I want updated MBP with a hi-res 15" option.

I can't remember if I've already posted in this thread or not, but anyway. I was thinking about waiting until the next (e.g. Jan-March) release, but I've decided that's lunacy, so chalk me down for one whenever they come, which had better be before the end of September (not that I'm buying a PC or anything!)...

Thinner than the current MBP? Rounded corners? God DAMN IT.
The MBP is thin enough. I like it already. Why are they thinning it out yet again? That'll just make it harder to get better graphics cards and CPUs inside. Bad move?
As for rounded corners, IMO that would totally ruin the look of the MBP.... combine that with a chiclet keyboard, and you've no longer got a professional-looking computer... you've got something that looks like it belongs in little Stevey's toy closet.
