Macbook Physical Store Availability

apple store at the summit in Birmingham Alabama has all colors and conf EXCEPT 1.3. Had to go change out a cable today and asked.
 
I'm in the area as well. I'm sure you called around to every best buy in the LA area. Did you come across any that had a 1.2 512 Macbook?

I'm actually quite amazed at how emotional I feel when I use this notebook. The 12" screen reminds me of the first 12" Powerbook G4 I bought myself when I was in high school, and the thin profile definitely brings me back to when I bought the first generation Macbook Air.

Jony wasn't kidding when he said this notebook took a collection of individuals from different disciplines to create it. I always valued OS X more than iOS on a productivity machine, and this new Macbook gets the best of both worlds from a hardware perspective.

Very happy to have this mighty little notebook in my lineup :)

I'm in the Pasadena Apple store and they sold out of all models. They did have some earlier in the week. However, I was told that if you do an in-store pickup order online on any model except the 1.3ghz, you can get it in 1-3 days
 
they tell you that at the pasadena store? true for all in US? Im in so cal as well.....
 
Don't know if this has been mentioned, but all gold, silver and grey stock models (ie no 1.3, I don't think) are available at the Perth City store - at least, they were two days ago when I got mine.
 
In-store availability in Cardiff

A couple of days ago I got my hands on the new MacBook 2015, which is on display at the Apple Store in Cardiff (Wales, UK). Although I didn't explicitly enquire, I very much doubt that it is available for in-store purchase.

I found the new MacBook in the causeway bay Apple Store 5 days ago. I've been in HK for 5 days and checked with the store everyday to be told " don't know when we will get stock" they had a few on the 24th apparently but they went really quick. Was told to call the stores everyday which I did to the utter annoyance of the the poor telephone customer service person probably answering the same question 100 or more times a day. Then on my last day, my friend was going to the store and I casually said " ask if they have any MacBooks while you are there" bazinga ! They had exactly what I wanted. Space grey in 512gb only.
There is a God after all.
Is this the only Apple Store to have them so far?
Anyway, I love it. Not the fastest piece of machinery in the world but that's not why I bought it.
I bought it for the size and portability.
Oh- and also for the other main reason why most people have bought it

So of all of the random places the Best Buy in Racine WI has one 512 Silver in stock. They had 2 but I visited :)
 
I posted a few posts ago in regards to Best Buy availability. I can confirm that my local Best Buy in San Diego had about five in stock. I just picked up a 1.1 space gray model using the movers coupon.

When did you ask the store? Morning or afternoon? I am planning to have a look at Apple Store in Festival Walk these days.
 
Just found one in Switzerland. both stores in zuerich got some to take with you.
Nice little baby.
 
I'm going today to check out the availability of the stock in the Boston store. I know if they have it in stock I won't be able to resist buying one...
 
Munich Rosenstraße has all colors on display on two whole tables.

Didn't ask about the availability, but iPads next to them said "Order now".
 
Just found a 512 1.2 open box SG at BB in Santa Monica. After 10% movers coupon (they wouldn't let me use the student discount on an open box) it was 1478 after taxes. Not bad.
 
I wanted a space gray 1.2/512gb but couldn't find it in stores. Ended up getting the base 1.1/256 silver for $872.44 after movers coupon and open box discount. Too good of a deal to pass up!

Cancelled my Apple order that had a June ship date.

Jeez. What was the open box price. That seems low.
