The 8c base model will be a little slower for normal tasks but more noticeable in demanding or sustained tasks. Similarly even if both a 14" and 16" have the same M1 Max, the 16" will be faster in sustained tasks since it has better cooling. This is kind of why a lot of people wish Apple would make an Air at 15/16", they normally combine screen size increases with power. These Pros are one of the few times where both Macbook screen sizes were so similar in power.
I wish we had a stairway to heaven that looked like that. You’re luck to have that splendid view whenever you visit the Apple store.

My theory from day one has been that those of us (in the US, anyway) who showed Express from the start are already sitting in a warehouse stateside somewhere, and they will be shipped Sunday or Monday overnight for Tuesday delivery.
The review embargo doesn't lift until Monday at 9am, so you won't see any videos until then.
Yep, my belief is that if you have shown Express shipping from the start, your machine is likely already stateside (if you're in the US, that is).
