Edit: The 2009-2012 13" MacBook Pro weighs as much as the 2021 16" MacBook Pro

Yes. I was leaning towards 14" when everyone said how heavy it was. But, I am coming from a 13" 2012. It's only .2 lbs more for the 2021 16". And the weight is spread out more. Like a feather....

My excitement disappeared quickly this afternoon when I opened my 16" MBP and saw a few horizontal lines on the screen (no damage to the box or outside of the MBP). Already have it being sent back to Apple for a replacement. Good to see that SloRide got a quick replacement shipped out, so hopefully I'll get a new one soon.

Nope wasn’t due til between 4-8th Nov but updated last Friday to shipped and due on the 29th! Been sat in Shanghai for 3 days and then now this!

I’m half tempted to ditch my order for the 14” 32gb/1tb Max and go pick up a stock Pro and ‘live’ with 16gb Ram. I can go pick that up today!

Probably way overspecced my BTO and the saving could pay for a new monitor!

But the FOMO on the max is huge!
