The fact it is delayed until November and December hurts. I’m glad you were able to order your 💻 on time and obtain a launch date delivery. I honestly believe the performance of the Mac alone will amaze us.

I am not even able to track it in the app that bar doesn't pop up for me. I have to go to the website to check the status and yep Arrives looks like everyone is in the same boat now.

It could just be the glitch. I’m pretty sure Apple servers were slammed.

Just changed my vote to 14" (from undecided). If I was going to go 16", the weight had to go down dramatically. It's actually gone up from 2kg to 2,15kg. The size is more or less the same. I have a hard time lugging this 16" around, so my new, permanent, long-term, live with it for 10 years machine has to be lighter.
The 14" is sweet. To my surprise, it's actually slightly heavier than the late 2013 Retina 13" which I had before this 16". Which is ok, because I dragged that 13" everywhere and 40 grams won't make the difference. Size wise it's about the same. But with the M1Max, it shoots straight up to the top of performance. Incredible that that fits into this size.

Null pretty much means 0. I think Apple store is having maintenance issue at the moment. Don’t think it’s updated properly.

After 14 years of faithful service, my Late 2008 unibody MBP is finally being replaced. 16" Max 32/1TB with 10/26 delivery is on the way.. Even though the old beater has the extra fancy BTO 2.8 gHz Core 2 duo, I'm thinking the new one might be a tad faster to boot. A functioning camera, WIFI card, and ability to get past Mojave will also be a nice bonus.
I think you should wear a seat belt the first time you turn the new one on.

Same here! I had a confirmation 6 mins after the Keynote. I called Apple, they say the order is fine. Probably a glitch.
If I knew what I wanted to do I wouldn't be here on the internet hoping for it to decide for me. No one's ever accused me of being decisive. 🤣

Gah, I'm so indecisive on specs and models. I have an M1 Max / 32-core GPU / 32GB RAM / 2TB model on the way, but I'm wondering if that was serious overkill for what I'll be doing on the machine. I specced up with the hopes of keeping it for 5+ years, but I've been reading a lot of people making valid points about instead using that extra money to sell in a few years and re-buy the 202X model and about how Parallels gaming isn't very good so gaming isn't a valid reason to spec up.
I could probably get by for several years with the M1 Pro / 16-core GPU / 16GB RAM / 1TB, but that requires cancelling my current orders and either re-ordering for later delivery or trying to secure one in-store next week. Not really sure what I want to do. The $1200 I spent to spec up is significant.

Similar to others, my delivery date was just changed to Nov 17-24. Nice news to find in the inbox.

For those who have, just like me, the null date: it is just a glitch. I checked the status online and also the address shows as 'Dennis d', instead of my full name. I had this before with one of the iPhones of the last years. Everything will be fine. They are just processing your order and you will get a notification of shipping this week when in the USA, or, in my case, on Monday evening for Europe.
Received my order confirmation at 1:56PM EST after fighting with the website for a few minutes
