Yesterday evening I ordered a 16" M1 Max 32GB Memory, 2TB SSD. Estimated delivery was December 2 - 9.

This morning I was browsing the Apple store and re-visited the configuration for my MBP, and now it says delivers November 18-26!!! But strangely enough, my order still shows Dec. 2-9. Nothing has updated.

Now I'm tempted to just cancel and re-order for that faster delivery date. Any reason why mine hasn't updated to a sooner date yet?

GOOD LUCK. Hope you snag yours. I tried this for the Apple Watch... no dice. I'm not sure why or if it would be different but I'm definitely rooting for you!

There is a white screen that gets very bright during the intro of Foundation, get ready to lose your vision for HDR.

I hope the 14" advances a week as well. I had my cart ready to order minutes after keynote and it said Oct 26 delivery. Discovered it was Space Gray and wanted silver, so went back and recreated - in that time it slipped to Nov 3-5. I'll be at the beach that week - I'd love to have my new MBP before I leave for the beach!

Thank U so much for letting me know. I will format my macbook pro today and bring it into the apple store at the end of the week..two questions..when I format, that NVAM thing, the pressing of the keys when it boots up is that necessary to do, I read its something to do with wiping memory from the system, looks kind of hard to do I looked on youtube and no one does it when they format, they just remove themselves from itunes, imessage, icloud, and then format, they dont do that additional step so was not sure if it was necessary
I am going to bring it to them already fully formatted they can just power it on and go to a few of the setup steps to see that its running perfect

My friend ordered 16" he's regretting not getting the 14".

It was close for me but the 14" is quite smaller. its what i really want since I got the max chip. would have gone 16" if max was only in that model.

if i trade in my macbook pro i7 16Gb 2020 5128 Gb will get 1210 plus 300 for the apple care plus never used ?

I want to get the trade in funds first then pay with creditcard

I wonder if the moved up dates are also a "bug" since a lot of the early orders are showing "Arrives" and (null). That would suck, and I sure hope that's not the case. I'll feel better when Apple fixes it.
 
I am 100% down for this and WILL be upgrading my old macbook air to the new pro model. Most likely will be the 14 inch one. Just wondering if I will be okay if I order next month.... I know the holiday season is coming so I should still get it before Christmas hopefully. I wiil consider this an early birthday gift to myself anyway ( B-Day in November) lol.
