Yours is the only shipment from Expercom that I've heard of. Did you get shipping information from them?
Hey! I just got shipment notification and my Mac is already in Memphis. Fedex is saying it'll be delivered a week from tomorrow, January 11th. I'm hoping it doesn't take that long to get from Memphis to Lincoln, Ne.
Expercom order on Dec 2. 14" MBP, 10/16 32gb, 1Tb, Space Grey. At the time Expercom was saying 3-6 weeks and I'm just over 4 so I can't complain.

You're in Lincoln? brutal. I'm currently in Omaha. Here's what's going to happen. The FDX distro center is next to Eppley Airfield in Omaha, so your Mac should take a flight from KMEM to KOMA. Depending on the time of the flight, it will get in get its arrival scan, another departure scan, put on a truck, and driven down I-80.
Now, one thing with FDX is that depending on the shipping method used, if you are given an exact day for delivery, FDX will wait until that day to deliver, even if the package gets there to Lincoln earlier than the delivery day.
I say "should" above, because in looking at FlightAware for all FDX flights to Omaha, their flights are coming in from mainly 3 different airports: Memphis, Indianapolis, and Cedar Rapids. Without going down the rabbit hole of where the flights to Cedar Rapids and Indianapolis originated, there are different ways your Mac will get to you; for now, let's assume those flights originated in Memphis.
The KCID and KIND flights normally get in in the morning, with 10:20am being the latest. If FDX is on the ball with their scanning, it could be out on a truck that same day, but I seriously doubt it. So it will sit in Omaha overnight.
If your Mac is coming directly from KMEM (it's a single daily flight), it gets in around 8pm. So it will definitely sit in the distro center overnight, and get onto a truck the following morning.
So I'd definitely look out for it on the 11th regardless. It probably will not be delivered before then.

I hate that about Fedex. I've had ground packages originating in Kansas City wait for days just so they wouldn't be delivered early. I don't have that issue with other carriers.
Yes, mine says January 10th. But I don't see how it should even take that long? Status shows that it's been in Memphis since Jan 1. It shouldn't take 9 days for it to arrive. Hopefully it'll come earlier.
It shouldn't. I'm not sure if they still need to exit customs, that may cause a delay. Hopefully we'll both be enjoying our new Macs by the end of the week.
If it's going through FDX, I can guarantee you it has already had its custom scan. The question actually is why it is staying on a pallet in Memphis instead of making it on a flight to the closest FDX distro center and staying on a pallet there. It's highly unlikely that an entire pallet of Macs are destined for your closest distro center.

This is what mine says. Not sure why it shows 'International shipment release - Import' twice.
This sounds like the infamous Tour of Shanghai, except in Memphis. When pallets of Macs were preparing to leave China, they made it to the FDX or UPS distro center in Shanghai, and all competed for that sought after spot of pallet on a plane. If it didn't make it onto a plane, they went back to the Distro center, and were scanned in again. Wash/rinse/repeat each day until they made it on a plane. So when they went back to Shanghai, they just, you know, took a tour of the place, stopped and ate some Dim Sum, and went back to the distro center with a full belly.
In this case, swap the Dim Sum for baby back ribs and baked beans.

How???? I ordered mines on Nov 29th, and I remember you said your fedex tracking shows a ship date of Jan 11th? Mine says Jan 10th, but the status just got updated saying it Departed Memphis, TN at 1:39pm. So I was curious and went on flightaware to see if there are any Fedex planes that are leaving Memphis around that time, and it shows there's one departing to Kansai Japan at 1:34pm. I really hope that my mac isn't heading back towards Japan!

Yes, I was just looking at that flight as well. I hope that's the case. Because I seriously don't see why my status says it would arrive Jan 10th, that's a long time for my package just to be sitting there. I appreciate your help. Fingers crossed that it'll arrive tomorrow then! Hope you're enjoying your new MBP!
Mine said it'd arrive January 11 up until it was delivered this afternoon. I think it's safe to ignore your 1/10 date.
Ordered my MacBook Pro 16' with M1 Max (not configured) on 11 Dec and still processing (7th Jan - 14th Jan Window). Live in Australia and meanwhile Australia's JB-Hi-Fi store is already doing 10% off on these new Macs?. I haven't got my one from Apple Store and they are already doing discounts?
