Are these the full versions? What's the catch?

Will I be able to get upgrade pricing for Parallels 7 when it comes out?

Sets your MacUpdate Subscription to auto renew

Just a heads up. I purchased the bundle because I wanted a few of the apps (plus gifting 1Password to someone because I think the app is just awesome!) and I went to look at my receipt. I didn't have the MacUpdate Desktop app and subscription but received it with this purchase. The membership was set to auto renew by default. That just drives me crazy! It is easy enough to simply turn it off, but just the principle....

Leopard? Multiple machines??

Parallels, Divvy and 1Password alone are more than worth the price. Two quick (albeit silly) questions:

1. Is this good for Leopard?

2. Good on multiples Macs (someone else also had the same question, but I didn't see an answer)??

Thanks!

Tech Tools Pro 6 already out!

I think I'm going to pull the trigger, but it's maddening that Tech Tools Pro 6 is already out and they are only including version 5 in the Bundle.

This is why I haven't bought the upgrade to Parallels 6, because for the same price as the upgrade, it usually comes out in a bundle.

Pulled the trigger. Have been using trial versions *ahem* of Parallels and 1Password. And the trial of Divvy via the Mac AppStore.

Saw that Divvy was only available to the first 10,000 - this pushed me to buy NOW. After my purchase I saw that I was the 10,028th purchase... DOH!!!!

Though, I checked my email and....w00t, Divvy serial number included :)

This is a pretty solid package - Parallels itself is $80, and I use it near-daily.

Stoked.

Damn, I missed out on Divvy too...

Haha. I found that it's good for 10.5 (Leopard).

But yeah, it'd be great if someone could answer the multiple Macs question!

:D

Can't speak to all the apps, but I'm pretty sure that 1Password is licensed per user, so the SAME user can put it on multiple machines. You can then use the Dropbox integration to sync the passwords "in the cloud" across all your machines. Very nice!

1Password is the only app there I'm remotely interested in. Looks like I'll be holding out longer before picking it up.

Does anyone know how Civ IV will run on a late 2009 Mini? I have the 2.26 version with 9400 graphics and 4GB RAM. I have to say 1Password and Parallels make this bundle. I have been using VMWare Fusion for a while, but Parallels 6 looks pretty slick.

and 1Password is a must-have for me.
I would recommend this bundle just for those apps.

Civ 4 is apparently better than 5 (which for many felt it was a downgrade though the gfx were improved).

x2. This deal is worth it for Parallels and 1Password alone. Too bad I already have Parallels 6 (though I essentially got it for free last year by purchasing Parallels 5 for $50 within the "free upgrade to 6" window and getting a $50 rebate).

Ha!

The only thing I'd be interested in is Civilization IV. I'll never used parallels again as I can't deal with the upgrade hassles and costs. I'm quite happy with VirtualBox, which is free.

Ain't that true.. with Parallels it seems like I am upgrading all the freakin' time  probably best just to use boot camp.. given that I barely ever use windows..

Like you, I downloaded bundle as well and have no luck installing Civ IV on my new MBP. What am I missing??

A great bundle for users new to Mac, otherwise I can see most already having at least one of the main apps.

I don't know if we are allowed to talk splits on this board (don't want to break any rules), but I'm interested in Divvy, Hands Off!, App Tamer, Civilization IV & A Better Finder Rename. I'd happily go 50/50 with someone who was only really interested in the other, "big" apps.

The only app that looks interesting is Parallels. Unfortunately, VMWare runs the roost in the virtual world, and every VM I receive is written for VMWare, so VMWare is where I will stay. Besides, Parallels is substantially less stable than VMWare doing the same basic functions.

But to others considering, Parallels at full price is $80. The bundle is a good deal - but if what others are saying is true and they bill you $500, steer clear.
