Sky Mobile carrier update is v39 on my Pro. Anyone UK-side, any idea when Sky released this Version? I have not been prompted to install it so it may have been a week ago or so.

Not too sure, I’ll ask my daughter as she’s on sky so she might know. Won’t have them till Monday

Wow, this is a big problem, Apple does not seem to have a fix, the carriers are saying is not them, so are these iPhones defective or what?

It's not a BIG problem. 4 of us in my family are on Verizon and have 11 Pros and haven't dropped a single call after using the phones for a month. There is likely some specific scenario (i.e. receiving new notifications on certain apps during the call, etc.) that is causing the dropped calls for a very small percentage of the population. But it's NOT a widespread issue affecting everyone.

I'm curious if this is tied to the Intel modems that are inside all iPhone 11 models? Is anyone having dropped calls or bluetooth connectivity issues with older phones that are using Qualcomm modems?

Any word on when that release will take place?
I think it’s on the final-ish dev beta then it should go public beta for a few days - a week, then public release. I don’t follow these things closely but my best guess would be 10 days? Have a look at the video here

Installed 13.2 Public Beta 3, signal issue is still here, unchanged
Think it the dev beta (not public beta) that addresses the modem. Should be public beta soon.

I have this beta (17B5077a) and it is still dropping calls.

On the phone with Apple Support right now. I'm using the Apple support app and they ran remote diagnostics. I advise all of you to do the same. I'll post convo once we are done.

They ran diagnostics on my phone last week for my AirPods crackling while on calls. Been waiting for a callback ever since. Also had a SIM swap. Looking forward to hearing what they tell you!

Dropped my 11 Pro off at Stormfront yesterday, technician straight away said apple should have offered to replace the phone The first time I contacted them as it was within the first 30 days of having the phone.

Had this email today:

Just to let you know we have now ordered the items needed for your iPhone repair. Please note, depending on the nature of the fault, this may be a complete replacement of the device itself.

Normally this will arrive the next business day, however occasionally this may take longer.

We will let you know when its ready for collection.

I spent another hour on the phone with Apple support today. They took more logs for the engineers for both my AirPods popping and crackling issue and dropped call issue. Also got a second replacement SIM from Verizon.

Mine also seems to just cut audio - no dropped call necessarily but the audio cuts and I can’t hear the other person and they can’t hear me.

I want to be clear that my dropped calls are not due to any notification issue. The calls will drop 1 minte into the conversation, or 20 minutes. At no time do I receive a notification. This issue bEgan for me when I updated to 13.1.2. Regardless of how little people this is affecting, this is a big issue. I use my phone for work and can barely have proper conversations. I am confident, apple will fix this.

Mine was definitely 100% correlated with Mail notifications. Obviously we have a few different scenario problems here.

Must be more than one issue going on though, never the less. Not good

Mine are definitely not related to any sort of notification. More frustrating than a simple dropped call (which I have plenty of) is when the audio just cuts and goes silent on both ends - then you have to go through the "hello, hello" routine, realize it's dead, hang up, then call back.

Yea, I don't think the replacement will help as others in this thread have done it. Keep us posted though.

That is what I get but then the call fails. You are just hanging up before the call fails. If you let it fail then Apple can see it in the logs I believe.

Please, keep us posted, I will as well, just received the AT&T update of 38.1, lets hope this is the fix to this annoying issue.
I was having tons of dropped calls with my AT&T Pro Max, but I received a carrier update 38.1 and now not one dropped call!!!

I'll know more tomorrow when i get out on I75 to go to work, but in the city on Friday it dropped five calls in ten minutes! (pre 38.1)

Also, I'm pretty sure that my issues were not caused by notifications etc, because the calls dropped in the exact same spots on the Interstate almost every time and I had received no notifications either so...
In our Downtown area though they dropped all over the place before 38.1

Go to SETTINGS, then GENERAL, then ABOUT. It will pop up then that it's already been installed.

I hope that I can do my whole 23 minute commute without one dropped call, like I use to do every day with my 7 plus.

I have the same type of drive and it always drops the call for me. I think it is due to switching cell towers and the phone drops it.

And this is with the 11 Pro Max?

My 7 plus had a couple of spots that it would drop about 3 years ago, but they tweaked the towers or iPhone software and it stopped.
I too think that it was where my call was being handed off to the next cell.
