Maybe you are a girl and simply falling in love with this shiny blending Mac OS. I suggest you should buy some shoes instead.

have a nice day.

Do you have a contempt for girls?
Dude, you just made it easy for the world to understand what kind of douchebag you are.

Cheers!

It seems no person wants to answer the questions I have asked previously about Windoz. Here they are again.

1. How does one make a copy / image of what is on the screen?

2. Is it possible to make a pdf file of a document such as of a banking site?

3. Are files and folders dragged and dropped to move / copy them to another location?

nope... sorry.

You can't get a Mac that ships with a Blu-ray player, TV tuner, Memory Stick reader, or built-in 3G wireless. You can with PCs running Windows 7.

true, but you can just buy some...

Most Macs can't hook up to your TV unless you buy a converter dongle. Many PCs running Windows 7 are designed to connect directly to TVs, so you can watch movies and see photos on the big screen.
You'll have to buy a separate hardware dongle to plug your Mac into a standard VGA projector. Most PCs with Windows 7 hook up easily.
oh geez that super hard to find $10 "dongle". oh please...

On a Mac, out of the box, you can only encrypt your home folder. With Windows 7 Ultimate, you can encrypt your entire hard drive and even USB drives. So your stuff can be safer wherever you go.
Does "out of the box" imply that the user doesn't know OSX? this is infact possible.

If you use Apple's productivity suite, sharing files with PC users can be tricky. Your documents might not look right and your spreadsheets might not calculate correctly.
Office for Mac isn't much more expensive than the Windows version of Office.

On a Mac, you have to manually set up photo sharing, manually set up music and movie sharing, manually set up file sharing, and manually set up printer sharing. It's easy to automatically and securely network with all the computers in your house when they're running Windows 7.

1) they preach safety, sharing everything isn't exactly safe.
2) usually setting up sharing involves changing a preference. "Command+,"

Apple's productivity suite file formats won't open in Microsoft Office on PCs. This can be a real hassle for Mac users sharing work documents with PC users.

Again, Office for Mac. If you already have a Pages doc and need a Word doc copy and paste and maybe a few changes needed.

If there's a Mac version of a program you need, you'll have to buy it again and relearn how to use it on a Mac.

In my experience Mac applications have been easier to use than Windows.

Macs only come in white or silver. PCs are available in a full spectrum of colors across a range of price points.

If you want to trade "color" for functionality go ahead. Colored cases are available for laptops and not too expensive.

Now after all that, most the "reasons" you find in their "Top 10" are easily achieved on a Mac.

I own a Windows XP desktop, played around with the Windows 7 Beta on my Mac in bootcamp, and I have tried to be swayed by others using Windows 7. Besides the larger range of applications, games, and software in general for Windows, I have found that getting things done on the Mac is easier and most of all FASTER than completing tasks on any Windows OS.

Microsoft Ad against Mac means they are afraid from apple; Mac market share is increasing ; Apple may win in North America Market, but they won't compete with Microsoft in the long term.

It has been said so often–

Apple is a hardware company.
Microsoft is a software company.

Any competition is perceived.

Yup, you got me. I want to make love to Stevey's sexy body on an apple shaped bed in his elegant aluminum walled penthouse suite where I can run my fingers through his gorgeous hair and lick delicious apple syrup off his nipples.

+10 internets to you good sir; for the lulz.

I'll take a stab at it.

1. You can use the Snipping tool, or you can just press the print button on the keyboard, and pasted on an image program like paint, paint.net, photoshop. The short cut key for paste is CTRL + V. Oh you can also paste it on programs like Wordpad and I assume Word, and then save the image.

2. Not sure of the question. Perhaps if you save the page, open it with Word and then saving it as a PDF. But I don't deal with PDFs so I don't know.

3. You can copy them, or cut them by right clicking on the file and selecting copy or cut, or you can highlight the file and press CTRL + C to copy it, or CTRL + X to cut them, and you can paste it in another location by right clicking on that location and selecting paste, or by going to that location and pressing CTRL + V. Or you can grab the file and drag it to the new location, or you can grab the file with the right mouse button to the new location, and tiny window will pop out asking you if you want to move it there or copy it there.

Lol this part got me laughing: Things just don't work the same way on Macs if you're used to a PC. For example, the mouse works differently

They must still think that Apple Mice come with only one click. Sounds like libel to me.

Who's fighting who?

I find it strange that the giant with 90 odd percent of the market share is going down the road of "my OS is better than your OS". Apple literally have to fight for each and every new customer. These are the customers who don't know what Macs are, if they are compatible, if they are usable and whatever other opinion has been formed in their minds.

Windows on the other hand is the "default" OS. The majority of non Mac users I come across professionally almost don't realise that there are other OS's out there, thus they use Windows by default.

The Answer to Question 2 is this:

From the file menu, hit print. In the dialog box that comes up, you should see the word PDF. If you hit that you are presented with the option of saving the webpage as a PDF. I have done it many times.

Hope that helps

No. It's because mouse acceleration isn't as good as it is on Windows.

I really get satisfied from the iphone 3gs and the ipad. great tools, easy to use, beautifull designed. because of this experience i ve buyed an imac too and it becomes one of the big disapointments in my entire using computers career.

in the first time the mac operating system looks great, simple, cool and easy. at the second view it becomes a horror trip.

where are my files exactly?
i dont want to use an itunes like ui to copy files or data. i like it simple, straight and easy. easy like windows 7.
on a mac a mouse is slow like my grandpas car.
i want burn data to a blu-ray disc, no chance.
i want edit avi movies cant import them.
i want play new computer games, oh wow i can play starcraft 2 on a mac, whats about crysis 2, mafia 2 or most of the others?

the list goes on endless....

well maybe i am to old to get into a new operating system but through apple i learned to enjoy simplicity on my Windows 7. well done microsoft!

Q: Where are your files?
A: They are in the folders to which your saved / copied them. And, furthermore, icons on the Desktop are built from right to left in Mac OS X.

Q: You don't want to use a WHAT to copy files?
A: Simply drag and drop from where they are to where you want them.

If you are really having such problems, you should have bought a book on OS X.

Someone has done a projection and it ain't pretty

Microsoft plotted out their declining relevance and found both cash cows died in 2020.

Live for today!

Here are the six main arguments:

● Macs might spoil your fun.
● Macs can take time to learn.
● Macs don't work as well at work or at school.
● Macs don't like to share.
● Macs might not like your PC stuff.
● Macs don't let you choose.

They dumbed this down from a concentrate of nearly pure FUD! These don't even make sense to any intelligent person.

That actually makes a lot of sense. I'm going to try it.

This should help their Office for Mac sales.

Define good.

My mouse tracks smoothly and quickly at 8/10 of max.

My mouse (Logitech MX518) does not track as smooth or exact as it does on Windows 7. It's very noticeable while playing games, to the point of not being worth playing on OS X.

I find it a little hypocritical that Apple casual users are saying all this crap like "Oh Microsoft is ruining it's rep, or that Microsoft is making a fool of themselves...or that Microsoft needs to be more creative and stop copying others" Even though Apple was doing the same thing a few months back with their Apple vs PC Campaign. They were both doing the same thing, explaining the plus side of their products and why they are better.

Honestly if you actually care about your products, then enjoy them and quit acting like premature adolescents who bicker about who has the better Pokemon (can't believe Pokemon is a real word according to Firefox dictionary).

To say that Apple never crashes or it never breaks down is very subjective, yeah if you do casual browsing of the web, or watch a movie then your computer is not going to crash. I've use a Mac Pro 2.66 Ghz 2006 model at work handling HD footage and mini DV. I still have to force quit once in awhile because something froze or is not responding. So to say that all PC's suck because they are unreliable is quite outlandish. No computer is perfect.

The only reason why I am purchasing a mac is to use it for professional uses, FCP. If I could get FCP on a PC I wouldn't even bother spending 1200+$ on a descent spec'd computer.

Also Microsoft isn't being original with its ad campaign is stupid. Technically Apple isn't being original either with using that Ad campaign, think of Politicians. I'm sure any politician has said "this is why I'm better, and this is why he/she sucks". Just allowing that ad campaign to sway you makes you a sheep who follows when told. Did you even put any effort as to see why Apple was better than PC?

I've been using my Toshiba laptop for 3 years now and it's still in working condition. Of course I'm not going to use it for video editing, because it was never designed for that purpose. But I can still scrape out two - three years of browsing the web with it. Which is pretty much what most trendy fanboys do with their Apple.

The only Apple users I can accept, are those who use Apple's capabilities for it's designed usage. Not to make themselves look cooler just because they spent the cash. Look at people who buy from Starbucks.
