When I get on www.me.com I can only see my iDisk all of the links for Mail, Contacts, Photos, and all other links on the page don't work. Is anyone else having this issue? It also might help to know I'm running Safari 4.0 Dev Preview. It's pretty annoying that this new feature still isn't operational with all the hype surrounding it, if it's not Safari 4.0 causing the issue.

I can confirm that on my iMac running Safari 4 I have the exact same behavior as you.

On my MacBook running Safari 3, I can click on the different sections of me.com (although it's still very slow).

At least with Safari 4, it's labeled as a preview version, unlike Me.com--they should have had us beta testing it as well.

Well… instead of MobileMe being as slow as treacle on a winter's morning it is now as fast as the same treacle — only on a winter's afternoon…

Anyway. It all seems to work apart from there is no payment options section. No place to check credit card details etc… I know it was there before but has gone AWOL for now.

Calendar sync is working quite well but iCal on my Macbook won't automatically refresh.

Say I create an appointment on my iPhone. I can see that the push trigger is working as in about 5 seconds my iSync icon on the menu bar starts to spin and sync the new calendar app. However when I open iCal (Program already running I just open it up from the dock) the new appointment is nowhere to be seen. If i click on another day of the month or calendar and force a refresh of the iCal data then the new appointment shows up.

So iCal is getting the data but won't automatically refresh to show the changes which is pretty annoying as I'll have to get into the habit of refreshing iCal all the damn time.

See my post at 10:37 am today. I can only get to idisk, everything else is infinately loading.

On another note, I finally got my outlook to send mail through mail.me the problem is if you run both exchange and mail.me (in case like I do, I have exchane for work through a VPN; and mail.me for personal); you have to go into your settings and change which one is the default.

I think my calendar and contacts has to do with the fact I run exchange also, my outlook wants to keep looking to exchange for that and not mobile me. I am sure there has to be a setting somewhere....

Killing mac rumors

On a side note, I think all these posts are killing macrumors  3 times when trying to access, I got the page cannot be displayed......

Why is it that when I log into me.com from the web, it automatically takes me to idisk? Not that I don't use that feature, but if I'm logging on from the web more likely than not I want to check my email and not look at what's on my idisk. Can I change that somehow?

Use urls like mail.me.co, contacts.me.com, calendar.me.com, etc!:)

how do i know if i have mobile me 1.0 or 1.1?

Under System Preferences, click Software Update. Then click Installed Updates.

Mac OS X Update for MobileMe 1.0 was downloaded at 5:48AM on 07/10/08. When it installed, my .Mac icon changed to MobileMe in System Preferences.

Mac OS X Update for MobileMe 1.1 was downloaded at 7:43PM on 07/11/08.
When it installed, Mail went from 3.3 to 3.4.

I just checked for the download and it's not there. Was it part of a software update or do I have to find it and d/l it??

ok, i'm quoting myself :p. I think I am going to try outlook that runs in parallels on my mac. Atleast that one does not have exchange server setup. Maybe then I can figure out for sure if having more than one in outlook is the problem with my calendar and contacts.

My Palm is still auto-syncing my email. I wish my palm would sync my contacts and calendar without having to have it cradled. :D

Let you all know this afternoon on how my outlook on my mac works without having an exchange server setup (this may force me to use my mac 100% of the time - xp in parallels for work, os x for everything else)....

I hope by then, when I get back, that the web interface is fixed so I can do some real testing. Most everything is infinately loading. I also want to relaunch my website through iweb.

iWeb problem

Here's a problem that I don't see mentioned so far. I publish my website using iWeb, which publishes it to my .Mac account. The website is still working but in the window where I have a Google Maps tool, what you see is the Maintenance blurb that you get when you try to log into .Mac. Also, I've got these weird little question marks populating my pages now. I hope they straighten this out soon as I ironically submitted my website as part of my Masters program yesterday!

I am having this same issue. I sent an email to MM support, but they haven't responded yet. The question marks on my page were appearing on borders for my albums. In order to get the question marks to go away, I had to change the border in iWeb, publish it, and then change it back to the original, then publish it again. That worked. So i guess you just have to change whatever it is, publish it, then change it back. But this didn't work for google maps.

there was posts on this thread that Apple pulled the updated and Mobile me due to the problems. Not sure how true it is.

I have the same issue, and was going to post about it, but I just found that there's a new Safari 4 preview posted yesterday. I'm going to install that and see if it works with MM. If I use FireFox 3 and seems to work fine (albeit slowly).

There is still no web mail in Canada. When I try to log into .mac through preferences it says my password is wrong. The services also says my user ID doe not exist. What a pain in the a$# I don't have time to call tech support. I'm paying for a service that does not work.

I just downloaded and tried the latest version of Safari 4, and it still dosn't work. I'll have to go back to Safari 3.

Change your password to a new one (not the same one) this has worked for loads of people including me. Once you log in, you can change your password back.

My mobileme account has been stuck on 'loading events' in iCal for 10 minutes already!

Before that the site seems very slow, but was relieved to see that contacts and emails appear to be all there. Haven't been able to check idisc yet due to it being stuck in calendars.

ok, got the mobile me to "sync" what I enter on the web interface with my calendar on outlook (have to have mobile me as the default mail account - appears outlook may not handle more than one exchange type server correctly), however even if I manual sync through advance to push to the cloud, appointments entered on my outlook do not go back to the web interface.

We are making progresss people..... :D

Maybe by the time I get back home from my errands all will be right with the world and I can start using this thing for real.

As a frist time go live, there are glitches every time - but ones all these bugs are worked out; I think I can finally ditch me AOL and gmail.

Oh, does anyone know what the size limit for attachments is? Most emails it is 5 mb, but i use GMAIL because it allows 20 mb. Good when I have to send low quality videos to people to approve before I post the higher quality rended one on a website.

This is a mess... :(

If a bunch of :apple:tech geeks cant figure this out how are any of the poor normal saps supposed to figure it out?

20MB but you can use the idisk to share larger files.
