this thing seems counterproductive I was going to buy one but the fact they want you to leave the phone idle for 2 hours well the JPA recharges the phone is stupid. the whole point of the case to me atleast is to have double the battery life without the need to be tethered to the wall. If I have to not use the phone for 2 hours why not plug it in? Where I could actually still use it well its plugged in. It would have been better I think if you started out on the JPA then when the case died you then used the iphone battery. that way you have no interruption of use. has anyone who has it tried that yet? let me know if you get the same results. because lately ive use my phone all day at work (7-4) if I dont charge it during the day when I leave work im down to like 15% which is bad cause when I get out I start returning business calls for my 2nd job. so lately I put my phone on the charger around 1pm to get it a second wind.

Thanks for posting the pictures.

Appreciate it.

OK, I ordered on Friday and got a shipment notice today. I picked the cheapest option, UPS ground, how soon should I expect it to be delivered?

That is entirely dependent on how far away you are, as UPS shipping times vary for UPS Ground (which was the least expensive option for me).

I'm 3-4 business days away from them via UPS ground. No biggie. Ordered early Friday, shipment notice on Friday, should be here Wednesday.

I ordered Friday before noon. It shipped that day. Mine arrives tomorrow.
It depends on your location.

Well, I'm in San Diego and it looks like Mophie is headquartered in California somewhere so I'm hoping I get it Wednesday. So far UPS tracking says "Shipment Info Received" with no ETA on delivery.

the price is a little too much compared to other brands like mili. also, why add the extra bulk to such a beautifully designed phone with improved battery life?

Loving mine so far. Adds bulk but case looks so nice. Get used to it quick

thats actually a pretty cool device. I like how its a battery and a case in one. Sooner or later it was to come out with different colors. I jus took a quick glance at it

I get mine tomorrow, but I'm just wondering I'd anyone who already has one has any concerns about the silver plastic sides? Do you think over time they can scratch to reveal another color under the paint?

I'm not concerned with scratching the sides, I'm sure that will happen over time, I'm just worried that the paint will chip (is it paint?) and that it will reveal other colors underneath.

Well I got mine tonight and I'm happy with it. The quality seems very good. I charged it fully and did a full charging test and got a 73% charge on my iPhone. I'm pretty happy with that. Most importantly, it doesn't affect my signal any at home, where I only get two bars. Happy camper!

I would like a white one please :D

This is what I got from customer service when I asked about the white juicepack for iPhone 4. I hope so because I want one! It would look nice on my converted 4

Dear Danny W,

We will be releasing white very soon! Hopefully in the next few weeks - please keep checking our website for release dates!

how is it too much compared to the mili? They're both $80 and the one from exogear is $90.

Considering the quoted user's join date, username, post history and content, I'd consider all the posts are just SPAM for the sig line.

I have the regular juice pack and I love it (1500mAh Juice Pack). Only thing that concerns me is that it only has 500 full cycles in it. I'm not an electrician by any means so Im sure thats probably a long life for a battery cell but I just thought that was a little depressing hehe.

Lithium Ion batteries don't 'drop dead' after 500 recharge cycles. It's more of the overall capacity slowly degrading over time (even if in storage)...so at 500 recharges, Mophie is claiming that it still has ~75% power left (pretty normal for Li-Ion), or ~1125mAh. Not bad.

This is about the same as the battery in a iPhone 4 (starting at 1400 mAh), degrading to ~1050mAh after 500 charges.

Thanks for the insight. That was actually really helpful and eases my mind about that.

I have had mine now for about a week, give or take since my original post here. So far no problems what so ever, hands down better that the exogear even with the lip, which I have gotten used to.

It did take a fall and survived with out a scratch, good overall protection.

Charging seems to work well, I have used it to to charge the iphone from various states of depletion, from aprox. 35% to 75% and charged to 100% with juice still left in the Mophie.

I really think this is the one. I did try the Milli and thought it was a piece of junk, really cheaply made compared to the mophie, so I sold it!

I'm going to stick with mophie!

Can you explain the fall it took? 3 feet, 5 feet? Onto carpet? Concrete? Just curious.

All great news......my JPA should be here tomorrow. The wait is killing me. I already got the mini USB cords from Amazon....

Mine is out for delivery. UPS always comes around noon by my home. Not today.

EDIT: 2:41 It arrived. Charging now. Simple question. Red its off and green its on correct?
