No.
Remember how when the first MacBook Pro was just introduced? It was a 15", and at the time the 12" and 17" PowerBooks were still being sold... Same story here, First the 15" is introduced, then a month or two later the 17" will be.
I think it could be very clumsy doing certain things - like clicking and dragging. Apple keeps trying to reinvent the mouse. All you need is multi-touch and two buttons. The rest is a gimmick as far as I'm concerned.Trackpad itself IS a button? GENIUS!!!!!!!
And 12" iBook owners.![]()
that wont happen!! what happens when you type and scratch your lovely new glass (WTF?!?!) track pad? hopefully these 'confirmed' rumors are just a load of rubbish.
No matte screen on the MacBook Pro???? Time to say goodbye to Apple for me. It was nice as long as it lasted.
Guess this is my last post on this forum.
Bye, bye.
GET SOME SLEEP AND WAKE UP AND HAVE A BREAKFAST
It will be glossy-only, and here's why.dude, chill out and wait to see offical word![]()
!? Why do you do any color critical work on a laptop screen to begin with? You should really look at getting something like one of the nice LaCie monitors that have the port to plug your colorimeter directly in.
I'd really love to know why all of you people hate glossy so much? What's the big deal?
My girlfriend is in her third year studies of graphic design and she's using an iMac 24" at home for all her work. It's glossy and she doesn't seem to suffer from it being glossy? What in fact is there to hate about a glossy screen? I just don't seem to get it all.
Besides she's also in the waiting game like all the rest of us to update her iBook with a new MacBook. And I'm looking to buy my first Mac Notebook! A 15" MBP please. One that will also be capable to play Starcraft 2 / Diablo 3 at high quality with decent fps. And for the rest I'll use in combination with my M-Audio musical equipment / dj stuff.
LOL! This is funny! All these people crying over a glossy finish....
I said it twice already I'll say it again:
If you do, then it obviously isnt that color critical so quit crying. Hook your laptop to an external monitor (just like I and many many others do) and do all your color critical stuff on there! Simple!
Meaning, there will be no more 17" MBP or that it will be replaced with a computer that is totally different than the 15". Not just a "bigger brother" if you will.
