Did anyone really think this wouldn’t happen with a folding screen?

TBH, it didn't really occur to me, but in hindsight it's obvious. The MBP screens have issues with keyboard marks because there's virtually no gap between the keys and the screen. It makes sense that it'll only get way worse with a folding screen that won't even have a "virtual" gap.

Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. This is why I don't buy anything when it first comes out, even Apple hardware.

But your do have a close look at it - just as I do. So, imagine, nothing more to watch at until it (eventually) becomes a succes as second generation. A lot os us looked fascinated at these folding screens. Now, Samsung and Huawei did it. They may succeed or fail. We all will get to know it. But do not blame them for DOING it. They can afford it.

It is called innovation and this is a huge field test. Failing or succeding is part of it.

Apple: Resting on their fat laurels happy for furhter excuse not to innovate.

Trotting out 2016's design! Silly Samsung and other companies thinking of 2020 and beyond !

The mouse charging port is the stupidest thing ever. Poor design move.

How & why? I can’t understand the criticism for the charging port on the bottom of this mouse. This is a Bluetooth, WIRELESS mouse. Want a wired mouse then buy a wired mouse. This was designed to be wireless when in use.

Annoyed that your new Apple Mouse can’t be used and charged at the same time, then I think you’ve ignored the number 1 rule of being wireless: no wires. Anyhow...

Yep. The world is eagerly awaiting exciting new form factors that don't work for more than 24 hours.

Apple: Pay us a premium to take a notch out of your screen! You don't need it!

It's a beta product. What do you expect?

They're not being advertised as a beta product, so I'd expect them to have a lower failure rate than what we're already seeing in the hands of reviewers.

Probably Samsung will inspect those devices and come with a solution.

Don't know why so many people from here complain! It's not like you spent 2000$ on the phone and didn't know it's a beta product, or Samsung come with the "F you response"!

Nowhere in Samsung or retail documentation does it suggest that this is intended to be a beta product release, so I would expect the Fold to have a similar level of quality to the other phones/tablets that Samsung offers.

It Seems fairly easy to try to pick on Samsung based off this article, but this is part of first GEN tech that needs to evolve and mature. I think every side of tech products has its faults, but this is in the demise of the Galaxy fold, it’s areas that need to be improved to make the product better. That’s what it’s all about.

Trying something new is great, but foisting it on consumers before it actually works is despicable.
