'N42' iPhone 5 to Reportedly Launch at Same Pricing as iPhone 4S

I have the 32gb and thankfully have a very small number of songs and my iP4 doesn't shoot 1080 but still i have to think about if i really want to shoot video or if i will just delete apps.

if they had 128gb i'd still not be able to import all songs and have space for apps. Apps are increasing in size and i have to weigh to download/buy an app or not because of the size.

and more memory will be better for the phone too. allowing space when updates are made. other smartphones may not have it yet but Apple can push those limits. you know if Android had 128 everyone would be saying Apple is behind the times.

the S3 is up to 96gb now... btw a 64gb mirco sd card is 70 bucks on amazon....

You're right, they should just ditch the OS and design that's sold more than any other smartphone out there and totally re-do it. Because every other phone maker does this.....

This is all speculation. I suspect it won't just be a 4S elongated. There will be new hardware on the inside, and I'm going to guess that they drop the 16GB in favor of starting at 32GB. Product numbers do not reveal specifications. This article is full of lose.

Once the 64gb sgs3 is released (maybe it is already?) you can get 128gb total with sd card

Plus they also give you 50gb dropbox for 2 years
 
Yawn - I will be glad when the damm thing gets released so we don't have another case / 3D render/ Part leak post, that basically looks like the same design that has been rumoured for the last 3 months. While it would be great to be proved wrong, this looks like the most boring iPhone release ever.
 
Why would they offer 32GB for $199? the 16GB gives a lower price point for advertising and when most people buy the 32GB for $100 more, gives them way more profit/margin.

Even if they did 32G but to matainain the same profit, it would be sold at $229, that's not a good marketing price.

People want to see "$199" for all the latest handsets, so it keeps the iphone competetive. Most people wont notice if a Samsung one is $199 for more storage.

But overall, 16GB is nothing. I have that just in apps with NO music and NO movies. Going 32GB for sure this time.

Off topic: What I really want is a 1 touch "kids mode" that disables all purchases, disables moving apps, deleting apps, locks out email (and certain other apps that I can preselect). I'd love a config screen for that. yes you can do some things manually, but that involves configuring 10 diff settings each time u give it to your kid.

Why? Because that's how much you need, so everyone should have to pay at least what you pay? I have 16 on my iPhone and have a lot of room to spare. Why should I be forced to pay for more?

I agree they may upgrade the storage but the price will climb... And in any case the new thunderbold port will allow you to connect extra storage to your iPhone ;)

He doesn't. It's not a question of who wouldn't, it's a question of why would Apple do that. Why would Apple offer the 32gb for $199 when they will easily sell it at the $299 price point?

If that is true I am waiting for the iPhone 6, 64 GB over 3 Generations is rediculous. More than 2 years after introduction of the 64 GB iPhone 4s we have still max of 64 GB...? Come on. Innovation?
