Wise words

As stated earlier by someone not so wise,

"i can see Apple invading Vietnam after all these leaks"

seems like a typical American response, however Apple should be aware that their gonna get their ass kicked like the American army did in the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s.

So, nVidia 320M in the next Mac mini? The question is: when? According to MacRumors' buyer's guide, it should be in around 42 days...

Wait, 42 days? Where's my towel!

These aren't rumors anymore! With rumors, there's always the possibility that they're not true, and people keep guessing with nobody knowing for sure until the official product launch or announcement.

Would you rather see Steve Jobs on stage introducing a new product or would you prefer to find out about it from some Vietnamese guy with freaky finger nails?

I prefer to learn about it as soon as possible. I don't care where the information comes from as long as it's accurate.

If you want to be surprised, don't come to MacRumors.

Steve was last seen water-skiing up a river. "I can't get no satisfaction..."

That's a terrific imagination you have there! It's probably lost on 99% of the kids that post here though. ;)

Must admit, it took me some googling to get that reference

Can you quote on a specification page where the internal volume of the case is defined so that you can back up your statement here ?

Until then, it's not "definitely thicker", it's "you assume it's thicker".

Yet you refer to the weight and make your statements as fact. As someone who works with a polycarbonate molding and machining expert, your disertation is nauseating. YOU provide no facts and knock others for the same. There are so many compelling arguments against your assumption it isn't even funny. I work in manufacturing and our daily work consists of designing out milled and extruded aluminum parts that go into our instruments, and replacing them with molded polycarbonate parts for cost SAVINGS. The savings on even the smallest parts is staggering. Same volumes etc. and we are talking fractions of the cost. You could say my experience is anecdotal, but not that of my coworker who has about 25 years in the field.

You my friend are WAY out of your league and you sound ridiculous. Stop criticizing those who bring logic to the table just to make yourself feel superior.

You haven't given any any proof yourself all you've done is tried to piss people off. I've never seen someone just respond to every ***** person that they could find something to disagree about. Get off the computer, stop acting like you know everything. There has even been enough evidence brought against your ridiculous claims that I don't even feel the need to point out how wrong you are. just stop because you already lost.
So? If aiqw9182's refuting every point being made, why does it matter how he does it?

They really need to change the material or finish on the white macbook. My mum got the white unibody when it came out and the plastic is so soft you can mark it with your fingernail!

They so obviously used a much softer plastic to counter the cracking/perishing the non-unibody macbook suffers from.

Well, I bought my MacBook only a few weeks ago but will be leaving on a long trip tomorrow with it. From the looks of the specs, similar to the base 13" MBP, I doubt there is any noticeable performance differences. Anyway, I got one of those great deals for $799 at MicroCenter and this is not something I could buy today so I can't feel too bad. It would be nice if Apple lowered the price to $899 so as not to be too much more than its competitors with faster hardware but that's Apple.

I feel for those waiting for a refresh of the Macbook Air.

I have no idea how the real world works yet you are arguing with a fact that I can easily counteract such as being able to buy a 2$ aluminum product.

The cost of the aluminum after it's been machined? Well then, the white MacBook is .2 pounds heavier than the 13" MBP. ;)

You mess up a piece of aluminum? Funny, I remember Apple SPECIFICALLY stating they get the manufacturing process right every single time oh I don't know... right here in their unibody video.

So you are assuming things.

I had no idea someone who is 5'11 and has a girlfriend is an angry little person who has to fulfill his life on an internet forum. You on the other hand, seem to have comment on it so often... makes me think you have some insecurity issues.

Easier to recycle, easier to mill and obtain. Also I haven't insulted a single person here.

This right here is my 4th total post on macrumors. point made.
I never said you didn't have a girlfriend and "little" isn't literal. point made.
The link that you posted multiple times is also talking about the previously made macbook too instead of the unibody. point made

Oh wow, 4th total post on MacRumors? Because that obviously means you don't spend as much time either just reading the forum or participating on other forums right? Give me a break. Point not made
Oh, so then how did you perceive "little" if it isn't literal? You said angry little person, which would lead me to believe you are talking about a person's stature. Point not made.
The link I posted hasn't been posted a single time in this thread, maybe you should've checked that before you responded. Point not made.

I love when people's responses get smaller and less meaningful as time goes by. ;)

That looks like a nice machine,I have the current MacBook and it's nice, but the faster processor would be great, and better graphics, but I'm still getting a 13" MBP,i hate not having FW on my computer, and the aluminum of the MBP is awesome.

Well.. This is a silly argument.

It's a shame to see so much leaked. This does look like a sound update though, very cute and decently powerful machine. Good timing to bump up the lowest end machines (other than minis, which arent the biggest sellers anyway) - just in time for Steam. :D

As opposed to starting out small and unmeaningful?
There's a difference between responding to a one line post that addresses one thing and responding to a post that addresses multiple things that end up getting ignored due to the person simply being proven wrong or running out of things to reply with. ;)

It is interesting to see all of these releases of information. If the products were made in the USA and someone was on an NDA, then Apple would have significantly more actionable consequences against said individuals. Since the manufacturing takes place in countries that do not have the same laws for intellectual property as the USA, then Apple must deal with this.

Food for thought???

What exactly is your point? Are you making some tired "made in the USA" is good, stop exporting American jobs to those evil foreigners type of argument? Haven't noticed anyone trying to justify this racist idea with intellectual property law before, but nothing would surprise me these days. Someone alert Glen Beck, another protectionist loon is on the loose....

vietnamese guy wffn...

These kinds of updates seems useless to me. Really, whats the point on keeping core2duo, 2gb ram, etc?

I mean... WE ARE IN 2010 FOR GODS SAKE!!! core2duo and 2gb ram is OBSOLETE!!! Thats my opinion.

how is it obsolete, what good would a quadcore do for a small machine like this.

Memory speed even on the new i7 is not going to give you Maximum Speed, or Maximum Armor no matter what you may think.

Its a nice incremental upgrade for someone who need a new laptop at a low price, say someone with a 3 or 4 year old macbook.

The video bump up is nice, but no one is really going to boot up windows 7 on a macbook and play crysis 2. :D
