They didn’t photoshop the camera out, they just shot from the other side so it wasn’t noticeable.

If you think Apple doesn't have a good hunch about how many people are going to buy the X, you need to learn a bit about corporate strategy.

I get the feeling the girl is older and has her own house. Some people do try to make a living off of vlogging. I thought she did a good job but her subjects (shopping) are not my cuppa. I’d be willing to wager $5 that this was reviewed and approved by apple. Parents seem very aware of what the daughter is doing and super supportive. May seem vacuous but that is sort of what younger people are a bit like until they figure out what they want in life.
 
I don't think this was planned by Apple.

In any event, they're in a unique situation re: their iphones
iPhone 8 is not appealing at all
and the X is overly expensive and likely in short supply. Means more and more might just sit it out this year...


Apple is no means in any trouble- likely next years releases (2 or 3 devices with OLED, smaller bezels) will be HUGE, a la 2014!

Does look a little thick, but according to the website, it's 0.2mm thicker than the 8 Plus. So I'm thinking it was just an angle thing or something. Either way, I don't care. I wish they made it thicker and put a bigger battery in, if anything.

Yes, this is exactly what i'm saying. Why wouldnt they? It costs them 0$ and they know the video will go viral. Perhaps you should delete your account for being that naive in the year 2017, that you actually believe apple only relies on official commercials and no viral marketing like that.

Looks like a big blotch of dead pixels. I wonder how many returns they'll get from customers thinking it's a screen defect.

Dude gave his daughter a super secret unreleased phone and recorded her walking around the campus doing iphone stuff. It's marketing and was most likely planned for release a few days before the phone release.
