That video is pretty horrible.Great video I found that explains the different coloring.
If anyone is interested in seeing the band colors look at the hands on videos after the keynote. There was plenty showing both bands.

It’s already been announced so he should be ok.I sure hope her father doesn't get fired over this.

It's amazing how some of you people still dont want to realize, that Apple in 2017 is something completely different than Apple back in 2007. This phone is obviously targeted for teens, i mean they even show the animjois in this video as something extra interesting. Who is the most excited about animojis? Teens. Where on internet is the best place to reach that demographic? On YouTube via some teen Vloger. If this is, as some suggest, indeed approved by Apple as marketing, then god help us.
In less than a generation we went from a thought provoking and inspirational 'Think different' campaign to vapid teen youtube content.
next episode she complains her dad was fired from Apple for showing a pre-released product.
Mark my words, silver/white combo will look FANTASTIC.
Eh? It’s literally the only one that explains the differences and shows it based on Apple’s website. I get the feeling you didn’t even watch it. Regardless, it proves the point that Apple is manufacturing these iPhone X phones with different steel bands. That video is pretty horrible.

It wasn’t recorded on an iPhone. You can see the large camera she is using in reflections throughout the videoWhat happened to front camera stabilization? It was shaky.
She'll just marry one.If shopping solves "all your problems" then you have more problems than you know. Hopefully her dad can encourage her to be an engineer.
What the hell is this UI? So the flashlight and camera buttons are just going to obstruct notifications?

I watched it. The guy doesn’t seem like he knows what it is still. He should of showed images from hands on instead of forum posts.Eh? He obviously knew she was filming it. He probably didn't think she was going to turn it into a viral video. Everything thinks their kids aren't going to be *that* kid.Only in a universe where selfie sticks and DSLRs are invisible
So, you are saying the father is lying to his daughter or the daughter is lying to us?
Actually no... it’s not black. What he said is right. It’s a treated metal, to give it a smoky appearance. It’s not black. Nor is the phone. It’s Space Gray. The Space Gray band is slightly darker than the plain stainless steel on the silver version. Tbh he describes it just as I’d imagine it. I have a friend that works in a jewelry store and she mentioned the process they are using for the iPhone X metal band is the same on watch bands they use for a darker appearance, not black though. A darker gray. And it does get scuffed, and often has to be replaced all together rather than buffed and polished. The treatment of the metal is nothing new. But putting it on a phone could be a bad idea because they’re very prone to scratches and scuffs and there’s no easy way to replace that band on the phone. We’ll have to see.I watched it. According to forum members you can possibly buff out scratches and may or may not be able to on the space grey. His wording the whole video wasn’t good. It’s slightky darker as he says as he reads the Apple text. Yes. It’s matches the glass of course it’s darker. It’s black. It’s not slightly anything.
So on Apples site when it says it’s polished to match the glass they aren’t telling the truth? My gripe with that video after he reads that and goes to say slightly darker then the silver version which it’s not slight. Silver is bright and polished the black version is basically black to match that of the glass.Actually no... it’s not black. What he said is right. Historically, I always upgrade. But I feel the conflict within me about this product. Not sure what I'll do this Friday.
