If you can't recognize a figure of speech and take it literal then you have more problems than you know.
Definitely a marketing move from Apple to appeal to her audience base, which I assume is Teens and younger.
I'm pretty sure marketing doesn't want everyone to know he's attending an engineering change order meeting with regarding project "Venus".this is a well thought marketing action.
Oh okay. I thought it was recorded on x.It wasn’t recorded on an iPhone. You can see the large camera she is using in reflections throughout the video
That guy pushes videos out daily. I can’t fault him for not putting in images. Honestly, there really aren’t any good ones that I’ve seen that show the two side by side. And you can’t cherry-pick images because lighting affects them greatly. So on Apples site when it says it’s polished to match the glass they aren’t telling the truth? My gripe with that video after he reads that and goes to say slightly darker then the silver version which it’s not slight. Silver is bright and polished the black version is basically black to match that of the glass.
The coatings are different on the two yes.
Nice to see that he went through a post I posted in. He still should of posted hands on images of both the colors side by side. Instead of taking weeks to figure out on the forums like he says.
No future after this year? Meanwhile Apple says this is the future of iPhone.I
I feel similar...I'm not so sure what's happening here...
Overwhelmingly it feels like Apple are charging a premium for the privilege of owning a phone for which the design is incomplete. I suspect next year you will see all the normal two phones release event, with no top notch, TouchID under glass, and I pray and suspect that on day 1, iOS 12 will be a full featured and stable re-release of iOS11 albeit re branded of course.
It just feels like the iPhone X is a flux type of product, halfway completed with no future after this year. I don't like the feeling of buying that for a premium. Also the ip8+ while I'm sure faster definitely doesn't have enough value to offer for someone who already has the ip7+.
To complicate things further of course my girlfriend has been waiting eagerly all year for me to upgrade so she can get my ip7+, and get rid of my old old 6s she has now. So if i say "ahhh I don't know if I want to upgrade this year", she will be sad and I'm sure let me know it over and over. Anyone else in this position? You know what they say...happy wife, happy life.....I feel like I will upgrade just to avoid the headache. $1200 (CAD) i guess is a small price to pay for a year of no nagging.
I'm so torn....
Viral video? My criteria for viral video is a bit higher than hitting a few Apple websites. He probably didn't think she was going to turn it into a viral video. Everything thinks their kids aren't going to be *that* kid.
I like how her father says the "iPhone Eks". Then later clarifies it's the "ten".
Unbox Therapy will also feature the X in today's video. So all you people, claiming how this video in particular, isnt some marketing stunt by Apple, will just have to deal with it.
Spoil them early on I guessViral video? My criteria for viral video is a bit higher than hitting a few Apple websites.
And "that" kid seems fine to me. People are offended because she said shopping cures everything? In my experience with my lovely wife, you are right: shopping doesn't cure everything. But it cures a lot.
Mike
The camera she is using really distorted the iPhone, made it look like an iPad mini.
Video being removed makes it seem like it wasn’t intentional.
She was probably grounded for posting it. By grounded I mean given 1000$ instead of her $5000 a month shopping money.
The humanity.
More than likely the crass consumerist tone of the video was seen as at odds with Apple’s more progressive humanitarian oriented image they’re usually trying to promote. The young lady herself has probably read the comments on her values here or somewhere and taken it down.And.... the video’s GONE!
I guess it was unauthorised after all.
