In reference to the "iPod" pic Kevin posted. Look at the edge. Do people really think Apple is going to make a new iPod that could slice cheese ?
wow, let me introduce you to the macbook air!!!!

Because MS treats their employees with distane, they basically have stolen tech from other smaller companies who can't fight back, they refused to keep I.E as a sing program until the courts said no... do I need to go on? There is a reason why they are starting to fail. This reason is they think they are Gods among men. Yet the meek will inhert the earth.
I am not buying this.
Yes, I'd like iTunes to suck less for video.
And the iPod line-up needs a refresh.
But
1) That Nano is a terrible design. If you had that thing in your jeans pocket, and sat down, it would sever your femoral artery. Knife crime is rife, do we really need iPods you can stab people with?
A device needs to have a shape. 4:3 is a good shape. 16:9 is too long. This is what? 3:1 ! That is absurd!

Apple doesn't treat their employees any better. They may actually treat them worse the MS.

Curved nano? How are they going to sell this? "Now the screen is 50x more likely to be scratched and scuffed."
Restructure - With all the content you can have in iTunes now, Apple needs to create a top-level folder for each media type. Doing this makes it easier to backup specific content, prevents mixing of different content. Why Podcasts, TV Shows, and Movies are in iTunes MUSIC is beyond me.
so.. since the picture is still up does that mean its fake?.. doesnt apple legal usually require real photos to be removed?
wow, the 1st and 2nd genration nano like that, and it sold well, and really wasnt THAT BIGGER than the current gen

The rumors may prove true, but I sure hope that's not the new nano. It looks... ugly.
While that might be what the new Nano looks like, I'm not a big fan of it. Looks too much like this calculator design without a sliding cover:

I'd hope that Apple can come up with something a bit more unique. The larger screen is welcome, of course, but with the current Nano being so small, they should be striving to keep the new one small as well!
Right. I guess you were rooting for HD-DVD in the format war. Blu-ray is the future. Not everyone has a ten million terabyte hard drive or access to a uncapped, extremely fast broadband internet connection for HD digital file distribution to be the future. I prefer to have hard copies of everything, and that's not just because I can't get high speed internet. My hard drive is cluttered enough as is without hundreds of gigabytes - or, in the future, terabytes of video that can be easily stored on DVDs and/or blu-ray discs. I really hope Apple brings native blu-ray support to the Mac.I am not buying this.

2) The Blu Ray thing has been predicted a hundred times already. If it was going to happen, it would have ALREADY happened. I hope Apple continues to eschew the format. Optical Disks are not the future of digital file distribution.

I totally agree.
I wish I could specify to add music to my music folder, but not to add TV Shows or Movies to the music folder (since I keep them on my external). This really needs to be addressed because everything just becomes muddled up.
If they don't do this in iTunes 8, they'll get some angry emails. They are promoting iTunes not just as a music application, yet they haven't even got something as simple as organisation for the likes of TV Shows and Movies yet.
It also cuts cake.wow, let me introduce you to the macbook air!!!!

iTunes 8 Wishlist.I'm most interested/excited in the iTunes 8.0 updates.
They've been needing new features and an UI overhaul for some time...
Some ideas:
-Sharper-looking Coverflow. The original was so much nicer.
-Option to organize all bands albums into stacks. Think docks "grid" and "fan" options.
That is all. Feel free to add your own.![]()

I personally think that the first-generation iPod nano had the best design. If this picture is real, than the nano has really gone downhill looks-wise since then.
hmmm...... that's smart, we'll definatly think it isnt a ipod if apple orders it taken down
That iPod nano's not touchscreen (at least I don't think it is). That Nano design looks ridiculous. There's no need for wheel controls if the screen is touch sensitive. It adds unnecessary bulk to the device making it not so Nano anymore. I hope this rumor is wrong.
Except for the leaked aluminum keyboard pictures.Apple's team of high priced lawyers are pretty quick when it comes to taking down rumors that are true or are actually leaked. Have you noticed that most rumors go unanswered by Apple and turn out to be false...I sense a connection. Most of the time though I bet they sit around and laugh at stuff like this. I mean come on, who is this guy in the video? Does he work for Apple? No because he would be fired and sued if it was true first of all. Who are these mysterious "sources" he speaks of?
