I've never seen so many "unidentified sources" giving out information before

I guess if there is a new rumor every week about upcoming MBP releases for the next 52 weeks. eventually one will be spot on :p

You never know, it might take longer than that.

One day before my birthday... SO hopefully true. It would be a awesome birthday present from Apple, I have been using my iphone without a computer since January HELP APPLE HELP!!!

All this waiting made me realize that my current MBP doesn't need upgrading yet. I'll wait for the next revision after this one. Thanks Apple! :p

And if so, what happens to the pricing? Do the new MBPs enter at the same price range or will buying a MBP become more expensive than currently is?

Looking at this : http://guides.macrumors.com/MacBook_Pro : the prices have never been raised (not to stay they couldn't). Last time the new models actually went down in prices so my guess is that the next updated models are probably going to be the same price (unless they added something ridiculous into it).

Another fake 9to5mac report.

This is the second time they've had these rumors and won't be published tonight.

Why in GODSNAME would they push laptops now when the iPad is a couple of day's out there? It won't make any sence since people are buying the iPad to replace laptops like the 13" macbook (pro).

Dude, the website is Macrumors.com

So asking for MBP rumors to be stopped seems kind of stupid for this site....

Haha,

aaaannyyy minute now, I can see in my crystal ball that they will be refreshed:)

We need to start another thread about how many complainers about the MBP release will NOT buy the refresh when it comes out.

When they see the new price points (same as was or higher IMO), they'll buy the current generation which they claim was outdated and were dismissing for 6 months.

I am very satisfied with my 2.8 year old Santa Rosa MB Pro. Minus the motherboard issue with nVidia's graphics chips, I have no plans to update. Although I am a little jealous of the size and feel of the unibody MB Pros. Anyone want to donate 1 dollar to my human fund? I only need 3200 donations.....=)

I hope they'll arrive before Xmas... (2010 or 2011?)

I sold my MacBook white 1 month ago. If the new MBPs don't arrive this month, I'll by a HP-COMPAQ!
I understand that Apple doesn't want to disturb the marketing communication of the IPad, and there are other reasons of the delay, but I need a notebook. Now.

So I can drop a lot of money on CS5 on Monday, and a lot more on a new MBP on Tuesday...I may get a lot of reward points on my credit card this month.

o.0 wow, some people really don't understand what SJ was aiming for.

and what ipads do.

and how they were not meant to replace laptops.

and how they have as much processing power as they need to browse and run minor apps, nothing more.

which will not meet the requirements of many people that use laptops for work.

/endrant

My 2 year old whitebook is falling apart, there is a power issue as sometimes it does not recognize either of my batteries and gives wonky readings like I have 7 hours of battery life left when its 70% full, plus I had the clicking hard drive with the white "?" mark a few times as well.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE let this be true.

"Not to worry", there's always next Tuesday... until the end of days...

Getting rather tired of these Tuesday stories

Anyone who think the iPad is a great replacement for a 13" MacBook Pro is insane (or that person bought a MacBook Pro but need something much less powerful).

Well in our shop, people by macbook (pro's) 13" so they can 'internet and email'.

So yes, it will be really strange if you take away the iPad madness and bring people back to the macbook white.

Also: "Minor apps", tbh.. The app games are really ok for macbook users. If your gaming or using CS4/5 then your a pro user.

A MacBook Air mini (300 to 600 g or so) is much needed. For full blown Keynote and PowerPoint presentations. Because the MacBook Air is too heavy and large and the iPad does not deliver.
