I surely hope you mean a 200GB Hard drive.

Rumor has it, Apple *MAY* be releasing the "Big Mac" to replace the mac mini and the all new "Mac Griddle" may soon be on it's way (possibly as soon as WWDC).
Time to break out the checkbook AGAIN!![]()

A lot of people think they will upgrade the HD's, and make 160GB the default size. But I was wondering, if they put in a 160GB 7,200 rpm HD, does that severely reduce the battery life? I don't think I'll be unplugged TOO much so it shouldn't be a big problem, but I'm just wondering how significant the loss of battery life is. Is it feasible for them to have an option for a 200GB 7,200 rpm HD also? Or would that just be 5400 rpm (or even 4000)?
I'm afraid the only thing that would shock and awe me about an iMac is if there's a feature that can be used to leave out the screen at purchase time.Jobs will shock and awe once again at WWDC with new iMac design on June 11th.
Jobs introduced Intel iMacs in January 2006 and shocked everyone.

MacBook Pros will be updated on June 5th like many are speculating.
No one has been talking about the 17" MBP's.
When they came out with the C2D MBP's, did all the screen sizes come all at once?
I had my eye on the 17" because I am a designer and screen real estate is a big plus for me, but if they're just coming out with the 15" LCD's for right now, and it's going to be another month or two for the 17's, im going to have to buy the 15" because i have a big project coming down the pike that i need to get started on ASAP...
so will they bring out the 15 and 17"s at the same time?
The general concensus seems to be that the new MBP's will all have Santa Rosa, and likely an updated graphics card and a 160GB HD as the default. As for LED backlighting, the rumors say that Apple ordered 100,000 15" LED screens back a little while ago, which would seem to indicate that only the 15-inchers will get LED. Especially because 17" LED screens aren't practical right now (either the technology doesn't exist, or it's too expensive at this point; I'm not sure which). But as far as I know, I think the concensus is that both the 15-inchers and the 17-inchers will get updated in the next upgrade.
First, thanks for replying so fast...
So you think the 15 and 17s will come out on Tuesday then?
In the past have they both come out at the same time?
The original 15'' came out in Jan 06 and then 17'' came out in April 06, but IIRC they both got the Core 2 Duo update at the same time (oct 06)
Ugh...well i hope they both come out at the same time...
I've been waiting long enough...it's like waiting for Christmas except Christmas keeps being pushed further and further back.
btw, we've heard more confirmation that Tuesday is the day... new MacBook Pros.
still no details on model specifics

As I posted earlier, my order for a 17" MBP back on May 27 has been on hold and recently had its expected ship date set to "June 1-June 5", leading me to believe that they will be included with some updates. I know that the LEDs supposedly purchased were for the 15.4" model so I am not too optimistic about my chances for that. I've read a lot of ideas on here, but what is everyone's opinion about what might be included on an update of the 17"MBP? Thanks for your input. Tuesday is fast approaching.
So, who's gonna go ahead and order right away, and who's gonna wait until after WWDC to see if anything of interest comes out then?
Yes, correct, and Apple doesn't usually announce a new OS until (at most) a few weeks before its release. This time is a rare occasion and Apple has actually said in a press release that Leopard is being delayed, for release in October instead of the originally scheduled "spring, 2007." So, there could be something to your theory but I doubt it.
