LMFAO! Samsung cant even make their own features look good without making their own features look stupid HAHAHA!
Do you own an iPhone X? If you do, try removing an app...... please do....

Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I don't know if anyone can top Apple at being childish.Samsung really don't need to be doing this, it just shows them being childish.
Bet Samsung will have the 'notch' on their next flagship.
Is it only samsung users that need to justify their device every year? I don't hear this much from other Android devices and their users...
Samsung and Android fans never mention that the biggest difference is iOS. Its the software stupid! Love the whole Apple eco system, where everything syncs together, even passwords for apps now sync. All in one place. For free. Without google harvesting all your info. And the insanely fast processor.
The three year global campaign of about 50 ads..... bashing PC..... hardly noticed itthe Samsung effort is very mild in comparison......
They already have face and iris scanners. Their face scanner lacks depth detection, however.Notch haircut was funny, but the rest of ad the falsely assumes that hardware is the most important factor in decision for purchase, when in fact it's the phone software. And that after all these years Samsung has yet to understand that and really put more focus on it in their own products.
If history is any predictor, Samsung S9 will probably have FaceID like system on the back of the phone.
This is the main reason I'm sticking with Apple, and they know it. The minute they get caught with their pants down (evidence they have been sharing all our data with the spooks), I'll go with android and save some money. When was the last time you took at look at a Galaxy phone?
TouchID was a great feature and it was one Apple purchased and put on the iPhone first. However they've been behind in almost every other regard. I would also say that FaceID is better than the facial unlocking we've seen from Samsung.
Both times Apple bought the companies that made these things possible and added it to their phones. There's nothing wrong with that. And I agree with you that the swipe down fingerprint readers that we had prior to TouchID plain sucked.
Things like Bluetooth profiles, cut, copy and paste, Wireless Charging, stereo speakers - These are things that aren't hard to get right and Apple was behind on for a long time.
We have fast charging that's great, well Apple still doesn't ship a fast charging power brick in with their phones like Samsung, HTC, One Plus, Razer etc all do. They've had Wireless Charging and Fast Charging on Android for like 4 or 5 years now.
Exactly. Let’s not let facts and reality get in the way. I think I’m going to leave this thread alone. Too much denial going on here.
No it doesn’t. Only numbers that count are yearly total sales, not cherry-picked quarters from specific regions to try and make Samsung sakes look better than they are.
It's been out 3 days! Apple themselves said that they wouldn't reach supply demand parity for a while. Lets wait the same amount of time that the S8 and Note 8 have been out and see if your statement still holds water. (Hint, it won't)Samsung grasping at straws. The S8 and Note 8 were good products that are still on shelves. While the X can't stay in stock...
Well if you had actually read anything, you would see that I had not posted about this yet. So you're woefully ignorant about what I did. Feel free to educate yourself before commenting on things. If that’s not the case why are you attempting to defend a megacorp as if it is an orphan left in the snow?
Oh Samsung...can you ever just do you?
Great ad for Apple. Makes Samsung look petty.
And living in the past won't help you. If you wanted to sell differentiation like wireless charging and water resistance, you should have done so when the iPhone didn't have those features....because they do now.
This ad just shows Samsung still doesn't understand why people choose Apple over specs.
I see this spewed around so much, that it makes me cringe. Android is more stable than iOS and users experience less crashes than on Apple's side of things.I agree on all of that. But you could do exactly what you did right there and just pick a ton of features that Apple phones have that Android phones don’t. And you could make the exact same argument but flipped.
It’s all subjective on what you find has an overall better package. If wireless charging 4 years ago to you was more important than touchID then go buy a different phone.
But in short, it’s a collective matter. It’s not you getting to pick deficiencies like they are the whole package.
I personally don’t care about wireless charging, or stereo speakers. I care about being able to send texts to anyone from my laptop.
I care about handoff.
I care about an OS that doesn’t have major stability issues at times.
I care about clean design, and bloatware free software.
I care about an App Store that isn’t saturated with viruses and ripped off clones.
So you can say they are “behind”. But that is only “behind” to you. To me their feature set is WAY ahead.

Talking about an opinion that favors a multibillion dollar company? Is the ONLY reason several hundred people would do this is that they are on the payroll? Or is it more likely that these are just regular people that don't share your opinion? Think about this dude. Not everyone shares my opinions on stuff. It doesn't mean they are getting anonymous money.
You just have this pre-set opinion and you're sticking to it without using your brain. Either that or you are a clever troll.
This is why I prefer OPTIONS. There has never been, and probably never will be a "One size fits ALL" approach, when it comes to smartphones, computers, cars, clothing, living quarters, restaurants, etc. If it were up to Apple, we would all be wearing the same clothing, driving the same make/model vehicle, and there would only be one place to buy food from. This is the kind of world I would HATE to live in. I wont like everything that other people like, and vise versa.I'm pretty sure Apple is touting plenty of specs... like the "bionic" CPU that we now see from speed tests isn't translating to much of an advantage in real life usage.
I still go back to what I said before. Where is everyone's sense of humor. Are you so personally attached to your smartphone that you can't enjoy watching an ad like this and appreciate it for what it is? Both Apple and Samsung make great products and its good for all of us that they do. You want to live in a world of one company monopoly? I surely don't.
Do you own an iPhone X? If you do, try removing an app...... please do....
Getting excited for Apple to respond with an ad showing a Note 7 exploding...

It's samsung being samsung again. They also don't mention their phone looks like crap and runs androidcan someone explain how writing down a contact is much better than typing it in?
- you need two hands
- you need a stylus
- looks wildly uncomfortable to write without some palm rest
- unless there's some "google magic" going on, you can't search for that contact (EDIT: yes i know OCR exist, but you need to take extra steps to file it as a contact instead of saving as a note)
- looks unorganized
- much slower to write vs typing

Yeah along with all the other several hundred people Apple randomly contacted here. If you actually believe this, you are a closed minded fool.Go cash that check.
Oh please. Are you going to make me look up yearly sales or can you just provide me with some proof that I am wrong?
