Not to mention Premium Storage Cost by Apple - with Samsung you just buy a way cheaper SD card

How many people actually do that? Among the non-software developers that I know, nobody would know that there is such a thing as an SD card that you could put into a phone. BTW. Usage of SD cards for storing data on Android is quite restricted (for good reasons).

I agree.

I was a bit astonished after I've seen Apple's keynote. Of course, the expectations where sky-high and not entirely fair on some aspects. But Apple was also responsible in creating it.

Nope. Nope they weren't. Apple didn't say a peep. The blame for that lies squarely with the media and unrealistic consumers who think revolutions/inventions should happen every 6 months.

Then get disappointed when Apple has the audacity to not meet those ridiculous expectations.

Pretty much says it all.
The iWatch looks to be absolute garbage and Apple must be embarrassed about bringing it out this late and for this price point.

Sport watch? There are many out there FAR greater than this without having to lump your iPhone around, alot cheaper price too.

My Omega SMP will continue to be strapped to my wrist - no charging, no vibrating gimicks; a real watch.

So Samsung have brought out and advert showing the iPhone 6 before Apple has brought out an advert showing an iPhone 6.

I own almost every product Apple has made, but this time Samsung is telling the truth for once.
Remember when Apple bragged about the "one hand" usage? Seems like that's not applicable any longer.

Every Samsung product I have ever owned has gone wrong. Phones have just died, large screen £2k TV died (not fixable) after 1 year. Camera LCD died.

So, frankly, I would rather wait for technology that will last a while. First is not good if you release rubbish to the market.

I find it amusing that SS pays for all these celebrity endorsements and then the people they paid get caught tweeting from an iPhone. What does that tell you?

It tells me that companies will pay celebrities for endorsements just like they always do. Like Apple spending $100 million to get the U2 album last week yet for some reasons U2 fans kept thanking the band for the "free" album and Apple users thought it was amazing that the band turned up to play at the keynote out of pure love for Tim Cook.

That's the problem with a fanbase. The larger it becomes, the greater the level of stupid with no ability to be objective.

The other manufacturers don't matter when Samsung and Apple run them over, and Samsung running over Apple in marketshare.

Also, the cost, You can get a Note 4 for 649 or 699, but the iPhone 6+ will end up costing at least $250 more... Does not make any sense whatsoever.

Samsung doesn't have higher market share in the high end market, where the money is made. The higher market share comes from selling $100 phones as well. It looks like you make the mistake of taking "smart phone marketshare" for "high end smart phone marketshare".

Samsung in a nutshell

And for the phone, I don't see any noticeable difference between iOS and Android. The latter gives you better flexibility.

I have and I do. When I had iPhone I have never experiences so much app crashing and phone lagging. Android is still the same clustered platform. And that coming from a flagship Samsung Galaxy S5 with great specs that makes some fandroids go banana..... because to them that's all it matters. Why did I get the galaxy S5? Bigger screen and great display. Well, never again now.... it's going on eBay next month and me back to the device I can rely on.

Going by your logic how about we create another "Apple's high end smart phone marketshare".

When the iPod came out people said the EXACT same thing.
When the iPhone came out people said the EXACT same thing.
When the iPad came out people said the EXACT same thing.

I guess this means apple has a hit on its hands!!!! Thank you

I dislike when a company has to resort to making others look bad to sell product....

Apple did this with EVERY commercial for well over 20 years, against their big competitors like IBM, Intel, Microsoft.

Their ads where pretty much exactly the same as Samsungs now.

They stopped because now THEY are the big mass market company.

I think what this Samsung ad, as well as all the apple haters I notice on forums seems to miss. They think that apple fans, such as myself, see it as a new invention that the iphone became bigger. And that before apple did this, we all preferred the smaller size, since thats what apple gave us. Thats not the way I see it.

Personally, I wanted a bigger size, and I was disappointed apple didnt do that before. The reason why I choose iphone, is because its a better phone, with better craftsmanship, better industrial design, better OS and the entire apple ecosystem with devices is a better user experience than what Samsung or anyone else can deliver. Samsungs integration and user experience is a joke. I have a samsung TV and also other devices, its a big mess of things. Trying to surf the web with a samsung tv is just embarrassingly bad, apple would NEVER release something that worked so bad. So, I have the iphone 5s, I will buy the iphone 6 plus. I never liked that the iphone had only one size, but I rather live with a smaller phone than a samsung product.

And so when they mock apple, or apple haters mock apple users, thats what they are missing out on, the user experience, not the features. I dont care if samsung had NFC 2 years ago, it doesnt matter, because the integration was bad they havent been able to get the marked to adapt to its systems. Which is what apple manage, they dont just add a feature and cross off their todo list, they see it through until it either works or they remove it.

I have an iPod, it replaced my mp3 player. I have an iPhone, it replaced my $15 SS flip phone. I will not have an iWatch because it replaces nothing and if you're in the market for a watch with an ounce of sense you wont spend $300-400 on this lump of tacky crap.

hahahaha i have a friend who echoed exactly what you said above.
"OMG i didn't know U2 and Tim Cook were friends, and they like, gave a free album!"

LOLLLL

Yes but Windows alone does not make the PC experience. Its all the other software as well. Yes, I agree they were making fun of PCs, but they were also touting things like crunching numbers, Word processing, etc (as good as PCs did) which for the most part was Office / Excel for Mac, made by Microsoft.

Why would they make fun of Microsoft when Microsoft was providing the business software they were saying "yeah, we run that too". Get it. It wasn't about making fun of Microsoft exclusively. It was about plugging in HW and "it just works". It was about plugging in a printer and having the mac say "Hey cool, nice printer, lets print something" as opposed to the PC, saying... "DUH, whats that? Go find me a driver" I personally, don't think it was ever Apples intention to just say... Look, Microsoft Sucks, but rather, Macs Just work.

Samsung however has resorted to name calling exclusively mentioning Apple. But hey, I;m ok with that. I doubt they have changed anyones mind. Most people who have owned a smart phone are already stuck in their particular ecosystem for the most part. If they have never had one, they just ask their best bud, parent, or whatever the cool kids they hang with are using and buy that. SA isn't going to change very many minds and the fact that they already had a commercial out 48 hours later means that they are spending a lot of money in the wrong place.

Samsung isn't trying to convert Apple Fans because it ain't gonna happen. Samsung is trying to keep their already established customer base from switching.
Of course the intention was "look PC=Microsoft sucks, Apple works". If you remember, instead of Samsung vs Apple right now, back then all the talks was about Apple vs Microsoft. Because, as I said Microsoft Windows was the operating system on like 99% of every PC back then. So Microsoft was indeed synonymous with the term PC and so the ads were clearly targetet at Microsoft. Because if you talked of a PC you just meant a PC running Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office and so on...
The operating system of a computer is what defines the user experience mainly, how easy it is to use... And that was what these ads were about. The ads mainly were about how easy and "cool" the user experience is on a Mac compared to how difficult and "boring" it's on a PC.
As you said yourself the ads were for example trying to show how easy it is to print on a Mac compared to what a hassle it is on a PC. Like "look how easy it is to print on a Mac with OSX. Just plug the printer in an print. And look how bad it is on a PC. You have to search for drivers, download them, install them, and then its maybe still not working." And why is that so? Because the Microsoft operating system is not able to provide the same easy workflow as OSX.
So even if Microsoft was not mentioned directly in all the ads and instead in the ads it was the PC vs the Mac, behind the PC stood the "crappy" and complicated overall user experience of Microsoft Windows with all its limitations, driver incompatability, the complicated Microsoft and third party software, combined with the "boringness" of Windows and the "boringness of the "grey" PCs in total.

These samsung ads right now are more direct in naming Apple particulary, and they are maybe not not as "classy" and "subtle" as the the Mac vs PC ads of Apple and also more questionable in style, but actually they are doing the same. Making fun of the competitor, it's Samsung vs Apple now and it was Apple vs the PC/Microsoft back then.

I'll answer that: Samsung don't have the ability to brainwash an entire user base. If its not brainwashing, then how do you explain so many people paying such high prices for kit that's (spec wise) 2 years out of date? Step back and take off you Apple hat before you answer that please!

Explanation: High quality. Products that not only have features, but features that customers actually use. Store employees that will help you with problems instead of fobbing you off.

And may I ask which Samsung phones are using a 64 bit processor? Which Samsung phones use permanent disk encryption to keep your data safe? Which Samsung phones can be remotely disabled when they are stolen?
