Like I said in the Fantasy Football thread, the Lions are about to end their losing streak...to the Redskins.

2 Minutes left, Lions ball, 19-14.

That's so ironic that I have to laugh. :) Well, guess either team -- especially the Lions as of late -- will be really glad to take any win regardless of any style points won (or not won). Used to live in DC during the 'Deadskins' era. Guess not a whole lot has really changed since I left, huh?

^What is going on with the Skins?

The Lions have ended their 19 game losing streak.

Jim Zhorn, head coach of the 'Skins, will most likely (98% chance) be fired because of losing to a team like the Lions...

^^ Not much has changed since then...except last season, they were decent....
I feel like I can do better than Clinton Portis (Runningback, Skins), and I don't even play football :p

I know who Jim Zhorn is :p.

I know they are having a really hard time trying to score. Pretty pathetic.

^Not this guy. Yankees/Jets/Islanders.

What's it matter to you, you live in CT. :p
Ya and a State full of Red Sox losers.

The best part, they blocked out the Pats in favor of the Giants here.

Not to derail to much but are your Islanders going to be around much longer.

Sanchez, the Lions winning, Cincinnati beating the Steelers , what a great weekend of NFL action. Here's to hoping Romo has a good night. I guess I'll have to step up my Cowboys support since my beloved Titans are in a tailspin. At least in Fantasy it looks like I'm going to go 3-1 again for the week. :)

Tampa checking in here... The Bucs only managed 86 yards of total offense.

We're the Lions version 2.0

That game wasn't televised in my area. Did you guys just fall apart or was the Giants D just that good yesterday? Leftwich seemed to be improving and Cadillac put up good numbers in the first two weeks. What happened?

The Bengals are a play from beating Denver and being 3-0 and the Steelers are an OT field goal away from being 0-3. The Lions win,Jets 3-0..Great season so far..And it's not how you start,it's you finish that matters...LOTS of ball left to be played..I'm still waiting for the TO implosion in Buffalo :p

^I love Chad, I really do. Incredibly football savvy and has the highest completion % in NFL history. At what point do you hang it up because this will be the 3rd time he has had surgery on that shoulder/arm.

He's always given the Pats fits and plays them tough. Three surgeries on one shoulder tho..That being said..I wouldn't be surprised to see him sign on with the Pats as the vet back-up if he decides to come back...

WTF is Jim Zorn taking today:
A day after suffering perhaps the most embarrassing loss since the Saints ended the Buccaneers' 26-game losing streak some 32 years ago, Redskins coach Jim Zorn was optimistic.

"In the big picture things are progressing," Zorn said, per John Taylor of the Washington Times. "We're getting better."

The 'Skins will definitely look better on Sunday, when the Bucs come to town with Josh Johnson as the new starting quarterback.

Still, it's hard for us to digest the notion that the Redskins are getting better after losing to one of the worst teams that has ever played in the NFL.

Define "getting better" :confused::eek:

No question. He's a short yardage QB (10-15), his arm isn't meant for airing it out. He would be an incredible value to teach a young QB the ins and outs of the game.

I wouldn't be surprised if ever becomes a QB coach. He's always come off as an all around decent guy, IMHO.

Titans fan to another then, Sanchez was average at best. He's got a lot of potential, sure, and he'll probably be a great QB, but yesterday aside from the first drive, the Jets' offense couldn't get it going. Were it not for an embarrassing outing on special teams, the Titans had a hold on the game.

^You guys are definitely better than your record indicates.

The Jets offense and defense failed to show up for quarters 2 and 3. Sloppy win.

3rd time's the charm, Chad. I think it's time for him to move into coaching. I've always liked him but never felt confident with him. Parcells would give him a QB coach job in a NY minute.
