Well that's beside the point...
Nice win for the Jets. They backed up the talk..Where are you staying in Miami? :p

Well I know it is, I'm just saying.

That they did. I'm sleeping in the stadium :p I'm not that delusional. If we get into the playoffs, I will be extremely happy. Sanchez looks really good so far, I'm very impressed.

Well let's hope that 11-5 GETS into the playoffs in the AFC this year, lol. Pats flat out got beat.Jets have a couple of tough games coming up as do the Pats..This is what some of the yahoo Pat's fans resemble today :p

I dunno man, that might do it but maybe 12-4 will be the requirement. AFC is redonk tough. Yes, they did :D Jets got a pretty tough schedule, that New Orleans game in NO is standing out.

LOLz! That was pathetic. Go cry :D :p

I have to say the Dolphins vs Colts game last night was great. The Dolphins really executed a great game plan and just came up short in the end. Of course it's really easy to come up short when Peyton Manning is across the line of scrimmage. If the Dolphins can replicate that game plan with other teams I think they will have some success this year. The Wildcat just stuns me. I can't believe they are using it that successfully.

The Fin's coaching is what ruined them in the end. When they got the ball back after Peyton's impressive 30 second 80 yard drive, they had 2 plays out of the wildcat, both runs. It wasted like a minute or so, and didn't leave Pennington with enough time to do his thing. That, in combination with Ginn's drop in the end zone (2 hands on that? you have to come down with those) is really what ended the game.

Miami is looking better than normal (although their record shows Miami just being Miami), but they have some work to do in a very tough division.

Coming from a Giant's fan, I have to say that Cowboy stadium is pretty sweet!

Cage Girls for the cheap seats. I have to say, Jerry is my kinda guy! LOL

Jet's looked pretty good, let's see if they can keep it going for more than 8 games though...

...and against a very tough schedule. Dolphins 8-8 if they're lucky this year.
Agree. They just don't have any playmakers. There were two touchdown balls that were for naught. One of those should have been caught and thus a Dolphins win.
And the Dolphins did figure out how to run 84 plays and lose.

The Dolphins just had no idea how to play defense against the Colts. Not helped by the fact that they also forgot how to tackle. How on earth does a TIGHT END beat you for 180+ yards OVER THE MIDDLE? I guesss when Crowder or Ayodele are covering them :(

That wildcat does look impressive though although it seems to be wildcat lite. There are no Ronnie Brown (or Pat White whenever he's in) option passes which worked against the Patriots to such devastating effect last year. Also, they need to find a way to play Ricky Williams if Ronnie Brown doesn't hand it off to him. I saw a few plays where it was a sweep right Ronnie has the ball and Ricky just pulls up on the line of scrimmage. Why can't they both run downfield and Ricky can receive the pitch from Ronnie as the play develops downfield?

Damn you Giants for ruining our new stadium first game there! :D

You must be listening to the sports radio here in Dallas, you would think the world was coming to an end and Tony Romo was the worst QB to ever play the game. I love this area and am a fan of the Cowboys, but boy are the over-reactions silly.

Nah..... You have to love the over reaction of the media and fans. So he had a bad game. Eh.. But damn you Giants! LOL

He isn't that great of a QB

I totally get it. Sports reporting is as much about entertainment itself as it is about actual reporting. And, boy does Dallas do it well. Sometimes it's funny, but sometimes it does get old or annoying.

Like I said in the Fantasy Football thread, the Lions are about to end their losing streak...to the Redskins.

2 Minutes left, Lions ball, 19-14.

F**k him :D

*raises glass*

Next week is going to be huge.

Sanchez looked a little shaky in the 2nd and 3rd quarters as did our D. Glad they snapped out of it.

Pretty ugly win but a win none the less. Good for Sanchez to experience some hardships and overcome them. I do like what I have seen of him so far. :)

It was ugly but I will definitely take it. True. He didn't let it get to him and he didn't collapse. Great for him and the Jets. We definitely got our QB... Finally.
