The most important part of PERSONAL style is being self confident... When someone wears something that most people find hideous and wears it with confidence it becomes a trend. When you lose your ***** and lash out at people NO MATTER WHAT THEY SAID TO YOU - you come off as the lesser person. He is a man in a prominent position in the public eye... Comments such as his - whether truly racist or not (I think not but who knows his intent) are unprofessional.

I think he may face repercussions. Hope the Apple watch doesn't end his career.

Prominent position? He's a self-important blogger that wears bracelets that belong on a pet, not a human wrist. I'd never heard of him before stumbling across the watch review.

Alright, who is the first to photoshop some studs onto Nilay's Apple Watch bracelet? I wish I could...

Looks like somebody already has. Found This.

Much more fitting. Not ridiculous at all.

I love how even days later this thread is still going loll

All we are doing is feeding his narcissism.

He has his JD, he'll be fine.

So, he's an attorney and going on about not-being (or fitting-into) a suit?

And, he's an attorney and thinks that bitter, nasty ageist and racist comments are appropriate and effective tools in a discussion?

One conflicted douchenozzle. I wouldn't want to be his client.

On the plus side, he's an attorney who broke away from his formal education to try a different career path. That's admirable even with Mötley Crüe accessories!

Nilay won't be in this weeks vergecast today
His on vacation
I wonder if the rest of the crew will talk about this

If he so quickly loses his rag and resorts to racist abuse when criticised, as he did in this case, it may well have been gently suggested to him that the often adversarial career of law might not have been a perfect fit.

I liked his review. But I can't take anyone seriously that wears a rocker-wristband … and I'm a rock musician.

To be honest, I didn't even notice that weird bracelet he was wearing in the review, nor care.

But he should certainly be disciplined by the Verge for his comments online. He's not just representing himself but the Verge too - his comments were very distasteful.

That review was utter narcissistic garbage. Definitely lost a lot of respect for the verge with that one.
