That is the ****ing rumor that macrumors gets paid to do.
Or maybe... they're just trying to throw us off....![]()
They can make commercials all day long, but that doesn't mean they are aired. i still see wayyyyy more Android commercials per volume then iPhone ones.
Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_3_3 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/533.17.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0.2 Mobile/8J2 Safari/6533.18.5)
It feels like we have a conference every month.
As you should since there are "wayyyyy" more android devices vs one iphone, ipad, etc.
yes but if the apple products were so great you would see more commercials promoting them.
Thank you for worrying about Apple's commercial air time.![]()
Frankly, I think this September 7 date is a crock. But then again, 98% of Apple rumors end up being false. It doesn't take a gambling man to dismiss any random Apple rumor.
The only two semi-credible sources are AllThingsD/Wall Street Journal and Cnet. Everyone else is blathering.

Not sure I understand the logic here. Ad buys have zero to do with how "great" a product is. I give you all the direct marketing ads on cable for Ginzu knifes, slap choppers, and such... or 3/4 of the car ads currently running.

some commercials are junk you are correct, but any google endorsed commercial is not junk, therefore the number of commercials in proportions to apple commercials can show which device is more popular and used more.
Well any ad for GoogleTV is junk by default. It doesn't matter if Francis Ford Coppola directed it.But beside that, you as a fAndroid well knows that Android is open source and Google doesn't endorse 3rd party ads.
