No, I don’t think so. My hands are small enough that I was using the X with two hands most of the time so I had already made the adjustment. If anything, typing on the XS Max is easier.

Nope, small hands here too. Love the bigger size, always have for every phone. Occasionally I'll use reachability and the one handed keyboard but its not necessary much.

Had the Plus versions before the X and missed the extra real estate. Now really enjoying the MAX size in addition to the other upgraded features...

I'm actually surprised that it doesn't feel as big as I thought it would. I can pretty much use it one handed as much as my 7 Plus.

Smaller in every dimension than the 7 plus I upgraded from with more useful estate. What’s not to like?

It’s big, not difficult to manage though. I’ve adjusted from the X already and don’t really think about it. I may just be able to do so better than others though.

I’m not planning on purchasing a new iPhone this year, but played with the Max for a bit in store today. Felt just like when I used a Plus in the past (in terms of handling it) yet the whole thing was this gorgeous looking screen. Looked amazing to see how much screen real estate there is.

My biggest worries going from X to XS Max. One day in and I don’t even think about it in my hand. It’s big, but not as big as I thought.

I was actually going to hold off until I could palm one to check. Even though I knew it was smaller than the plus I wondered if the screen going to the edge might make it more difficult to handle. However I saw there was stock in the later morning on launch day and ordered, reasoning I could always return it. My reservations were thankfully unwarranted - it looks and feels great and I’m absolutely amazed how well Face ID works. Seamless.

I understand women wanting a phone like the XS. But I will never get men complaining they want tiny phones. When I hear them whining about how their phone is too big I feel like smacking them, and shaking them. Hand them a plus size phone. And say, you can act like a man ala Godfather! Lmao!

We’ll, it’s little bit big what X but because trend is a big screens, and Apple will release big screens in future, I will go with this. Positive is that this is a little smaller than plus models. Smaller is better to use and carrying but, Nowadays phone is no more a just calling, so yeah! Max is superb - I like!

If you go to an apple store will they have loose demo models on hand and let you try putting it in your pocket to test the size? I use my X two handed when typing, and only one handed when lazily browsing, so reachability shouldn’t be an issue. Biggest thing is if it will fit in my pockets.

Does the keyboard in portrait mode give you a number row? Kind of surprised the X doesn’t, given the increased height in portrait.

Just a bit of casual sexism there...

It’s a preference / comfort thing for everyone of us regardless of gender. Some prefer bigger, some smaller.

C’est la vie.

I guess. Some guys prefer tight jeans, compact cars, small phones. It is up to them what they prefer. But not everything in life has to be sexism, or racism etc. :)

Love my Xs max however it does feel bigger than my old 7 plus, and I think it’s because the taller display makes it harder to use one handed. I find it impossible to reach up to access control centre for example, or to tap refresh in safari which inexplicably is next to the address bar right at the top.
With the shorter 7 plus I could do these one handed. So in that sense it feels bigger to me as it requires 2 hands more often

No, not everything in life does. Entirely my point!

Saying "I get women wanting a smaller phone, but I want to smack men that want a smaller phone and tell them to man up" (paraphrased) is a bit of casual sexism, however you dice it. Wasn't needed.

XS Max screen is perfect size. Felt right at home after missing it for a year. (And now I’m thinking how the heck did I go from 7 plus to iPhone X). The plus/ Max keyboard size is on another level

Again you interpret things the wrong way, but you be blessed!

True men don’t need to overcompensate ;)
How else am I supposed to feel secure in my manhood if not by using a huge phone?! o_O
