Offical Mac OS X 10.5 shipping status - Via Apple's "Up To Date" program

An Apple rep told me that even though my delivery date was 10/30, it may be longer because my UTD disk was shipped USPS First Class, and the delivery date estimates are generated based on Fedex shipping method.

I got it yesterday. And I was preparing to pursue litigation and everything 🙄.

Your shipping date was the 30th and you have it? Mine was the 26th and i'm still waiting...not like i'm in a hard to reach place or anything, either!

I came home today and saw it says it was shipped October 25th via Purolator/Canada Post. Anyone else see a estimated delivery? Also when I enter in my tracking # it says I have to call and im much too lazy so has anyone else done that from Canada?

Still no mail from Canada Post or Purolator. No tracking number. I talked to Apple Customer Service on Tuesday (the 30th) And they said it should come by next week (Nov. 5+). Hang in there Canadians.

Well atleast you guys in the US know what's going on, with the wrong shipper and all.

Here in Australia (keeping in mind I ordered by mail) it's been over 6 days and it hasn't come. I called the 3rd party that handled this service and they seem.. crap. -_-'' *sigh*

Saturday the Post office delivers, Sunday no....

Mine shipped on the 26th. Still NOTHING. I am in Syracuse,NY

Its a good thing I "obtained" a copy on Saturday the 27th or I might actually be upset.....
 
Apple Up to Date Shipping Ridiculous

Apple has truly not handle the UTD Shipping properly, based on recent events and analysis of this forum almost 95% of the individuals with deliveries by October 29th, and 30th still do NOT have those UTD copies in their hands. I find this highly discreditable on Apples Part.

And the worst part a part it is the Apple Online Reps do not know a thing! I asked an online Rep reguarding my shipping and all the said was really? I am so sorry. I would be happy to assist you with that. Here call 1800-MY-APPLE.

I had a promised delivery date of October 29th or 30th, it kept fluctuating every time I tracked the order on apples website. And it is now November 4th. Meanwhile I order my UDT copy on October 17th.

Quite frankly this is getting beyond ridiculous. I am going to wait until tomorrow and if it is not here, I will paying a visit to the Apple store on 5th Avenue to purchase a new MacBook pre-installed with Leopard. [Manhattan, N.Y] 2 blocks away from my house.
 
If it doesnt come in the next 2 days, I'll return my iMac (since it hasnt been 2 weeks) and say its faulty and ask for a new one, and they'll hopefully give me one with Leopard installed or an upgrade disk 😉

This is taking forever.
 
yea it's pretty annoying. Hopefully it'll be here by mid-week. If not, then I'll be really pissed. I ordered on the 15th. Promised to be delivered by the 29th. Nothing.

... at least i'm getting my neoprene sleeve for sure this week 🙂
 
Called the people who are handled this.

They said they would call back and within 2 hours they did and said that they are actually in Singapore and they'll have to contact their 'reps' in Aus and said they would call me back o.o

That is so odd, Im in Toronto and I got my package the monday right after launch!!

UTD and everything with standard shipping, it was shipped from a local ontario warehouse and it had 'priority overnight' on the label and was shipped via fed ex!!

Thanks, I just called Apple, and the Rep reordered for me since my UTD seems to be lost in the mail… they are going to send this new package express. The site says ready for shipping in 24h but the Rep was not to sure about that…
Here we go again! 😱
 
Well, be glad it's 'just' the UTD dvd that's lost. When I ordered my Macbook Pro last year, it was shipped from China to Brussels successfully but then never delivered... When I called TNT they said they were looking for it, and after about a week Apple decided to send me a new one since the first one had magically disappeared. You don't lose a big package like that, it was simply stolen by the delivery guy or someone else at TNT.

So be prepared that your UTD dvd was also 'lost' in the mail 😛.
