Temujin666 said:Congratulations on your new iMac, but you bought the wrong memory. It will work in the iMac but it's slow.
You ordered the DDR2 533 memory. The iMac requires DDR2 667 memory. Of course the slower memory will work, but you're going to hurt performance. You should return the memory if you can.
Here's a link to the correct memory:

LimeiBook86 said:I'm not stupid, or crazy, I'm not returning the memory, this is fine. The System Profiler says it's 667mhz which is funny, haha. I knew of the speed difference before I purchased it and I don't mind since I saved a good ammount of money and I highly doubt you can notice the difference. This thing runs great and I am positive that it can't run any faster. I do my research just before buying things, so I knew what I was getting and I am very satisfied with the result...now where did I put my Sim City 4 disc...![]()

Well they may be cheaper, but they will definately NOT run at 667MHz, no matter what system profiler says (which is probably just reading the bus speed anyway).powerbook911 said:Wow. You're tempting me to buy the slower speed!
What do you guys think? This could save us all a great amount of money. These 667 modules are so hard to find.
Would someone provide the number to call FedEx for shipping information? I'm having trouble finding the appropriate number on the FedEx.LimeiBook86 said:Call FedEx, and when you get to the automated menu press 0, this will bring you to a live person (after you answer a few questions) and the peron will give you MUCH better information than the web site. This is what I did and I couldn't be happier.

It appears Flash works for me under Firefox, but not Safari.
wpwj40e said:This is REALLY weird - I posted a rather long message under help regarding the issues I am having - notably Safari crashing after awhile or on a few different type tasks.
I am clearly running Safari natively and I have NO probelm with Flash.
