So what options do I have? Burning DVD-R DL is a must for me.. Can I replace it? If so, anyone know where to get one?
jsfpa said:I don't have any experience with dual layer DVD burning so please excuse my ignorance. Why do you have to use -R, why can't you just use +R DL media.
epepper9 said:DVD+R DL is much more common. I thought the only DVD-R DL was the dual layer RAM disks.Jesus christ it's almost as bad as digital camera media, where you need a 52 in 1 reader just to make sure it's compatible

Make sure it's a compatible printer with both computers. You might want to try plugging it into the mac instead and turning on 'printer sharing' in the preferences and seeing if that's any easier.Todd H said:So far so good. I've managed to network my new iMac with my XP box and can share files between the two. Now if only I could print from my Mac to my Windows XP USB printer I'd be all set. Just can't seem to get it to work even after reading a ton of help guides.![]()
